Good craftsmanship, friendly folks! UPDATE , 9/15/2014, While cutting the grass a rock broke a picture window in the back yard. We called Champion Windows of Memphis, talked to Zina (not sure of the spelling) who informed us that a new one would be ordered and they would let us know. Today 9/22 I called to check on the progress and again talked to Zina and she stated that the window was ordered and it would take from 6-10 weeks for the replacement window to arrive. I will update again on the progress as it occurs.

A good product and good workers. There was an unforeseen electrical problem which they dealt with in a very timely way. The screen part of the door arrived in damaged condition and they replaced it quickly.

Champion Window of Memphis were good. They were professional with them and they are quality. I don't have anything right now that they can improve on. The price was right on. I would use them again if I could afford it.

The service was very good and I was very satisfied with it. Everything worked out fine and nothing in particular stands out either good or bad.

It came out great! I was very pleased with them.

It turned in to an all day project for them because the old windows were locked in there good but they were good.

We had a large sunroom installed 22' by 18'. We had four different contractors bid on this job. Champions quote was in line with the other bids. We chose Champion because we were impressed by the quality of their materials. No one came close to Champions 6' wall system and highend glass at comparable prices. Four years ago we used Champion to replace all 22 windows in our house. We have enjoyed our house windows and I expect to enjoy our new sunroom just as much.

In July 2012, we discussed purchasing 7 new windows with the store manager Ken Pellerin. We explained that we would be making a purchase in April 2013 but wanted to plan ahead in order to save for the purchase. During the visit we discussed all aspects of the new windows including color, style and cost. Specifically we wanted new windows which were white on the inside and tan on the outside with window grids between the glass to match the color scheme. Ken wrote out a proposal sheet and told us to bring it back in the spring and he would honor the price listed which was $6743. When we returned, Ken was not available so we were directed to Jim Leonard who happened to be very busy. After waiting for over an hour, Jim rushed us through his office where he quickly wrote a contract based on the price sheet Ken had provided as well as the order details that Ken had saved in their files. He promptly collected our $2100 deposit and sent us on our way so he could attend to others who were still waiting. Three weeks later as we were reviewing the contract to determine when our new windows should be arriving, we noticed a "color" field where only "tan" had been checked. We examined the contract more closely but saw no where to indicate that the inside color would be white with window grids to match. We called Leonard and were told that the windows that they had ordered were entirely tan. Inside and out with tan grids. He explained that if we wanted the windows to be white on the inside, they would need another $1200 as that would require color bonding which is exactly what we discussed with Ken 6 months earlier and had received pricing for. After several calls, e-mails and an in store meeting with both Jim and Leonard, we were told that there was nothing they could do. They had misplaced the original paperwork that Ken had filed away after our initial visit so they had no way of knowing what was promised to us other than what was written within the contract. At this point, we had 2 options. Pay an additional $1200 to get the color bonded windows that we thought we had ordered or forfeit our $2100 deposit and get nothing in return. After many failed responses from people within the corporate Champion Windows, we were finally able to speak with a Colby Osbourne who is Champion's National Customer Care Coordinator. Colby appeared to be sympathetic to the situation and said that he would investigate the issue. After 2 weeks, an e-mail and a voicemail later, we finally received an e-mail response from Colby indicating that he had spoken with Ken and "unfortunately, verbal promises can cause misunderstandings, therefore the contract that was signed constitutes the entire understanding of all parties involved." Unfortunately for us... there is absolutely no category or check box within their contract to indicate "color bond"... only 2 check boxes to indicate white or tan and no indication as to where that color would be... inside or out. As a result, we are now out the $2100 deposit that we paid and we refuse to pay another $1200 for the windows that were promised to us by the store manager Ken Pellerin. On the bright side, next door to Champion is Pella Windows where we ultimately purchased windows. Tan on the outside, white on the inside with window grids to match at nearly the same cost for a better window. They have since been installed and look great. If this is the kind of problem Champion Windows has with the order process... imagine the difficulty later attempting to resolve any dispute after the windows had been installed despite their warranty.

I was promised the windows in 4 to 5 weeks and they arrived on time if not just a little earlier. We didn't get a lot of lead time on when the installer would arrive (called the day before) but that was okay. The man who came did a FANTASTIC JOB (that's right--one guy did the whole house)! He came a little early and caught us a bit off guard but better early than late! Took only a day (remember--just one guy did this) to do the door and 10 windows and it looks absolutely FABULOUS inside and out! We've had several people stop and comment on how great they look. The windows are beautiful and function perfectly; the door is very heavy but glides smoothly and the lock and handle are solid and sturdy. The price is pretty steep and gave me big time sticker shock but I believe you ABSOLUTELY get your money's worth with these guys. The functionality of the windows is second to NONE and the quality is superb! I WILL be calling them back to do the rest of the windows in the future. I enjoyed working with their staff and everyone was friendly and courteous. Highly recommend this company!

Champion called me on Friday and asked if they could come out on Saturday or Monday I choose Saturday. The installers were very prompt and nice.they had all the windows in stalled in about 6 hours. I sent them home cause it started raining,came back the next day to finish the trim and caulking. DONE super great work. I going to be getting my door replaced and I will be using champion and I will request the same installers who did my windows.

The quoted price was about $5,000. The only reason we have not done anything with them is because we have not made the decision what to do. I also have not gotten enough quotes either. This company is limited as to what it can do because of the product they have. What they showed us was nice, but it was not overall what we were looking for. The one thing I really liked a lot was that the sales guy who came out was able to take some photos outside looking at it. Then he did some sort of image crop customizing-type thing that gave me an idea of what it would look like if we actually did it.

Work is not finished ... there is still a few minor things to be completed but I'm extremely happy with how our sunroom looks so far. Installation started around the second week of May and the rain we've had over the past few weeks has caused some delays. This is a home improvement project that I have been looking forward to for a very long time so I've had a tremendous amount of patience even up to this point. So, with that being said the one thing that has been very disappointing to me is the lack of communications that I have experienced since the start of this project. I can count the number of times on one hand that I was notified on any updates or changes related to this project (weather delays or not). More times than not, I had to call in order to get this information. I understand that Champion performs work for many customers so if communications is/was not an issue for them then it should not have been for me either.

They did a previous job on the same property a year or two before in replacing windows and a slider and they were fabulous, they did a fantastic job. They were very prompt, very professional, extremely competent, everything went smoothly, and there was no difficulty at all, and I thought based on that experience I would go back with them the second time for this replacement of doors which turned out to be a great mistake. They really did bad stuff on the door very badly. We were having two doors replaced and what the salesman put in as orders apparently were different from what he wrote up for our sales slip and after waiting for eight or nine weeks for this replacement of doors to come in, it wasn't realized what the errors were until the existing doors were removed and these new doors installed that we found out that all that work had to be redone. They totally agreed it was their problem but it was gross inconvenience and stupid errors on the part of their salesman, which was a different salesman than what we previously had for the window job a year or so earlier. The guy who was doing the installing work for them was superb. It was the same guy who had done the windows previously, his work on the quality of the installation was great. It was just that he had to come back, take all those off and do it all over again. They took responsibility for the error that occurred and did the replacement as it was necessary to be done.

My experience with Champion Window of Memphis went real well. They did a real good job. They were on time when we got an estimate and when they said they were going to start the work, they started it promptly. They finished in good time, when they said they were going to be finished with it. We had no problems with them.

I contacted several companies for presentations and estimates to completely side my 2 story house, replace 1 window in the Master bath and replace some rotten wood. Jim, the salesman really struck me with his knowledge and presentation and gave me a fair estimate for the work I wanted accomplished. There are many other companies that were less expensive, but the warranty and the quality of materials sold me. The crew was great to deal with and kept us informed of everything going on and Steve the manager kept in contact and checked in often. I have already made up my mind to have them replace all my windows in the near future, and enclose my patio. What a great experience.

The installers were on time, worked professionally. Good work and clean-up.

They did a great job. The only thing I was concerned with was that they left early on the first day and finished on the second day. I believe that they could have done the work in one day. I ended up taking off two days for work instead one. Overall though they did a great job.

The service was good. The salesman showed me window options. Service people were very courteous and thorough in their installation. They showed us how to clean the windows and just what they would do during the installation.

They did a great job. They were on time and they took time to answer questions prior, during and after the job job was completed. All of the windows installed have a life time warranty.

I have been very happy with them. The doors work well and I feel I have more security, they have a double locking system. They look nice and I have saved on energy because they are double glass. The provided excellent service and I would use them again.

The estimate and measurements for the custom made windows and door took only about an hour. It took about a month for the windows and door to be manufactured at their factory. The installation took several days. Their work was very professional.
