He did a great job, however, I purchased a diagnostic from Angie's List and didn't understand that I wouldn't be able to use my discount coupon. I paid Burns $210 which was fair but paid Angie's List $59 in addition.

Made a service appointment, left work early to wait all afternoon, and he never showed. He apologized and said he overlooked it.

In trying to rid my daughter's washer of a mildew smell, I overfilled the basin (don't try this!). The washer quit worlking. We needed and immediate fix, as she and her husband have a 2 year old and 1 week old baby! I don't live in Memphis so i activated an Angie's List Memphis membership on line and started looking. Found great reviews for Burns Appliance, called Richard Burns, he said he'd come by 11:00 am that morning and showed up punctually. He diagnaosed the problem and was very apologetic that once he ordered the part and installed it, it would cost around $270. I told him to order the part (this was a Monday), the part arrived Wednesday late, so he came first thing Thursday morning and fixed the washer. He gives a discount for Angie's List customers so i paid $250. I can't say enough about Rick. I highly recommend him!

A little bit of confusion on my part and his on how msgs on this site work. We missed each other for about 2 days not knowing the in's and out's of the contact feature after you purchase one of these specials. As far as the service after we established our contact methods everything went well. A repairman came and changed out the faulty part and everything was fine. Would definitely use their service again.

I think it cost me more using this service through Angie's list.

I never heard from the company after I bought the big deal so I did not end up using it.

Called to make an appointment and showed up on time. Performed diagnostic work on refrigerator and gave a cost to repair. Repair estimate was to costly for the age of refrigerator, so service call was over. Cleaned up mess and tools and left. I'd recommend to anybody Burns Appliance for timely and honest service.

Rick worked around my schedule with another service provider and came during that time period so I could get back to work. He found the problem and fixed it within minutes.

All went okay! However, I would recommend protecting your floors, if necessary. When the dryer was returned to its original position against the wall, I later noticed damage (gouges) in my linoleum floor.

Great. Very prompt and nice. He showed up when he said that he would and repaired the dryer. He cleaned up afterwards. All-in-all a great and easy experience. Would definitely recommend.

Rick worked hard to fix our fridge. When the first part he tried didn't work, he came out again and fixed it. Ended up having to come out 3 times and spent a lot of time figuring out exactly how to fix it, but never charged me anything extra. Will definitely use again!

Rick Burns answered my call on 4th ring and was at my house less than 2 hours later. He was early for the appt. time!!! (awesome). He was very professional and pleasant. He came in, checked out my dryer, repaired it, put it back in place and was out in less than 15 mins. Unbelievably smooth and easy! Will definitely call him for any appliance repair needs and will recommend him to all.
