Burns Appliance Repair

I called several repair outfits and was told they wouldn't work on the issue I had described to them. I searched YouTube and found what I found was my solution but couldn't get anyone interested to come fix it. Called Burns and they popped right on out and agreed with my take on the issue. They fixed it! No muss, no fuss. Yes, I had to pay for the service call but it was significantly less expensive than buying a new double wall oven set up.

My fridge went out on Sunday. I called Burns at 8am Monday, and they were able to send someone out as soon as 11am. Everything was completely repaired by 12:30pm. I could not believe how quickly the issues was resolved. Highly recommend Burns and would hire again for sure!

The professional fixed it thoroughly. Saved a lot of money for me. Had it not been fixed, i would have spent a lot in buying a new washer.

It went very well. Rick was able to fit me in quickly, and diagnosed the problem the first day. He gave me a temporary solution to the problem while waiting on the part he ordered to arrive. My refrigerator has been working well since then!

Called on a Friday and was given a Monday morning appointment. Rick called me 1/2 hour before his arrival time. He diagnosed my problem, told me the part needed, cost & part would be in on Wednesday or Thursday of that week. He called me Thursday morning to tell me the part was in and he could repair it the same day. So impressed with such a speedy time frame. Found Burns after being so disappointed with 2 previous repair companies and the 2 -3 week time frame for repair completions.

It went great.I had used him before to fix my fridge and he is always on time and very professional and very very fair on price.He ended up making the tube smaller and reattaching it to the wall and once that was done the dryer works perfectly.

Mr. Burns was honest when he told me the price of repairing my washer was as much as it would cost to buy a new one and suggeseted that I do that.

Got an appointment set up for the morning after I called and he was very punctual. He quickly determined that our dishwasher was going to cost more to repair than it was worth, and walked me through why that was the case. He was able to fix the dryer after running out to get a couple of parts. Fair price, professional, good work.

He told me the part that he needed to fix the oven, that he couldn't get it, but that if I found it on the internet he could put it in. I found it, and he did come back and put it in. He was great! On time, fast, personable, clean, explained everything, just what I'm looking for in a repairperson.

I called on Wednesday afternoon to make an appointment for service on the upright freezer in my garage and the icemaker on the side-by-side refrigerator/freezer in my kitchen. I had been having a problem for some time with ice building up in the bottom of the freezer, resulting in a thick sheet of ice. The icemaker in my kitchen had been working only intermittently for several months. I was given an appointment for the next day, within a 2-hour window. The technicians arrived promptly within that window and began work on removing the ice from the bottom of the freezer and then clearing the clogged drain. They then inspected the icemaker and determined that the unit (15+ years old) had worn gears and would need replacing in the near future. This came as no surprise because of the age. I was offered the option of waiting to replace the icemaker until it stopped working altogether, since it had begun making ice again between the time I placed the call for service and the time the technician arrived, but opted to go ahead and replace. I was given the cost of replacement ($200 all inclusive) and there was absolutely no hard sell. The new icemaker was installed within about 15 minutes. I awoke this morning to a bin full of ice, making me a happy camper. The additional work on the freezer was completed for only an additional $20. Clean-up after the job was outstanding and the technician and trainee who accompanied him were very courteous and professional. Will definitely call again and recommend highly.

Mr Burns returned my call for appliance repair service in a timely manner. Set up appointment convenient to my schedule. He arrived on time. Evaluated and performed fridge work in an immediate, efficient manner. Cleaned up work site. Evaluated dryer problem and indicated he needed to come back (correct part). Set up appointment for next day to actually perform repair. Arrived on time. Performed dryer work in a timely, efficient manner. Reassembled appliance and cleaned up work site. Accepted credit card, issued receipt and guaranteed work for 90 days. Now after 3 weeks of use all seems to be working fine. Mr. Burns is a courteous, nice, knowledgeable and professional appliance repair person. He has handled 3 repair jobs for me (washer, dryer & fridge) and I am happy with the results of all. I recommend his appliance repair skills.

He arrived on schedule and on time. In no time he identified that the control panel and the heating element would have to be replaced. While standing in my kitchen he called his parts supplier for the cost of the control panel. He thought they were quoting him with a retail price instead of his cost and had them recheck their quote twice. His cost of the control panel and the heating element were right at $500. In my mind I had determined before he came that I would not invest more than $500 into the repair, I would replace it. I told him that I was not going to repair it for that price, I would replace it instead, and he understood. I asked if he installed them, and he said yes. I asked for help with understanding measuring the cutout size of the cabinet, which he gave and said that if there was a problem with the cabinet, he could modify it for me. He left, did not charge me for a service call, said we would take care of it when he installed the new ovens. I called to let him know the new oven delivery date, he scheduled to be here the next day. In less than an hour, the old ovens were out and the new ones installed (they fit the cabinet perfectly), and he was on his way, charging me $120 for both visits. I was extremely satisfied with Ricky's service, dependability, and more than fair pricing. It was a true pleasure doing business with him. My past experience with others handling these types of repairs/installations have not been very pleasant. I will use him again, and will refer others.
