Binswanger Glass

It went very smoothly. We were charged exactly as quoted. Everyone who came to our home was very nice and did a great job. We will not hesitate to use this company, at the Cypress Creek/FM-1960 location again in the future.

never got the opportunity to use, because they never bothered to call to set up an appointment, after me calling them twice about 2 weeks apart.

It was the exact match with the factory product as far as the windshield is concerned. I've never seen something so perfect, it surprised me. The quality of the work was fantastic. They even managed to keep track of the tucks, I don't know how they did that. They did all the work in an hour.

They came out for a free estimate and I authorized the work. I didn't hear from them for a couple of weeks and finally called. The technician had a family emergency and he guess had been away all that time. I was not contacted which was concerning because I had given my credit card information. After that call they were out to do the job within a couple of days and all was well.

I ordered a small triangular custom window. When I arrived to pick it up the price was twice what we had discussed. When I made the lady aware of this she didn't say a word for more than five minutes while she sat in front of me at her desk. The when she finally spoke she gave me the correct price and mumbled something about the windows being priced wrong. She was the one that priced them! Then the couldn't find my window. When they finally did I was late for work so I took it and ran. Later I realized the thickness was not what I had ordered and the steel separator was the wrong color. Plus long slivers of glass were coming off the edges. I can deal with price issues and even quality issues. I can't deal with the rudeness at the front desk. I trashed the sample I ordered and ordered my 22 windows across town on Central Ave. The date of service may be a few weeks off

The job was excellent. The only concern was that the original price quoted was incorrect and after leaving the doors we received a call with a higher price.

they took longer than expected after i paid to come and do the job they dint show up at the time range they schedule they came with the wrong glass the first time and not prepared, they needed a 40 ft long ladder they came for a second time with the correct glass but not with the 40 ft ladder again.they finally they got the job done on the 3rd visit

I made an appointment for the tech to replace the windshield at my home later the same day. Shortly before my appointment, it began snow flurrying and I received a call from the staff. Because I did not have a work area sheltered from the snow at my home, I was offered to change my appointment to a later date or bring the vehicle to their shop right then and they'd replace it. I went to the shop and they immediately took the vehicle in and made the repair. I was impressed with their willingness to work with me to get the job done as soon as possible.

The price was reasonable, they also come to your home to do the work. They did a good job.

I broke the glass in one of my refrigerator shelves. A small job for sure and one that is not going to produce much of a profit for a small company. That is why I was surprised to be treated so well. There was much conversation about the type of glass, the size of the glass and other details. They spent a lot of time with me for a little $25. job.

Binswanger Glass #095 in Arlington Texas did a good job overall. They returned my calls and came out to the house to measure promptly. We did have one snag. The mirror was scheduled to be installed on Wednesday, 11.27.2013. I called late morning on the 27th to find out when they would show up. After a few minutes they told me there was an emergency and they could not come out. It would have been better if they had called me to let me know instead of me having to call them. To make up for me having to stay home 2 days to wait they gave a discount on the mirror which they installed the following Monday. The guys doing the installation could not have been nicer. In the end, I was pleased with Binswanger and would use them again.

They replaced them very efficiently. I am possibly going to be using them for storm doors.

I had to deliver it and pick it up. I would use them again. They are close by and they are no-nonsense. They did what they needed to do. It was simple.

After a lot of calling and waiting for call backs, an appointment was set. They finally showed up, did the work and left. I asked why the edges of the chip on my window was not drilled out like I'm used to and I was told that they use a better resin than the rest. One month later, the chip cracks in 3 directions. I called again and had to leave a message with a certain person. I did the same again for a few days. Finally I talked to someone else and they just told me they don't guarantee rock chips and wont fix it. I told them I didn't think it was done right in the first place and I mentioned that to the service tech. They told me it was not noted on the form so they couldn't do anything. I asked to speak to a manager. They again took my number and never called back. Stay away. Unprofessional and do not do the job correctly.

I emailed, messaged through the Angie's list app and called them twice. No answer to email or message. I was told on the phone on two different days that I would get a call back. They never contacted me. I guess they have enough money. I give them a D because the lady was half nice in the phone.

They said the windows were simply dirty. 6 months later in air-conditioning season, it is clear (or not so clear, as it were) that a seal in a large window is indeed breached, and unsightly condensation in the window is a regular occurrance. We would have asked the seller of the house to fix this before buying it, but because Binswager gave the "all clear" we are stuck with addressing this problem. Company was contacted about our dissatisfaction and request for some kind of remedy, but they never returned the call.

This was a very poor experience. They had horrible communication. After they came out to give me an initial bid and we agreed on the price I heard nothing from them. A few weeks later I called and left a message with a live person at their office seeking an update and they told me someone would call me back. No one did. I called a week later and they told me glass had been special ordered. Then I heard nothing from them for a long while after that. We got to a month and half after their bid and I finally told them I needed to go with someone else. I will not be using them for any future projects.

They showed up on time, were polite, cleaned up all their mess...Very professional.
