Dave came to the house and showed me the fan that had failed and explained since my computer used the old Vista program it would not be cost effective to repair because Vista would not be receiving any updates in a few years. He recommended a Dell computer which was on sale. Dave completely set up the new computer. I was concerned about getting the data off my old computer since it would no longer start because of the fan failure. Dave was able to retrieve everything from the drives on the old computer and then transfer the information to my new Dell computer. I did not lose any of my old information. Dave was professional, worked quickly, and explained things in full. I am more than satisfied with the new computer and the job that Dave did.

We needed a new home computer. I called Dave , he came to our home and we discussed where what our computer needs were and where we wanted it to be set up. Dave then got on the phone with Dell and proceeded to order our customized computer. The really neat part of this process was that HE knew the right questions to ask and had the right answers for their techs concerning exactly what we wanted. Within literally an hour, our new computer was ordered, along with the really cool new monitor! We were on our way! Within a few days the monitor arrived and a little bit longer came a computer CUSTOM MADE for us! Dave came back to our home and installed/set up our new work station. It could NOT have gone smoother! We are members of his Priority One plan so we also only paid for the computer! ...The set up and all was already covered by our subscription! Having searched for someone to set up our new computer in our home, I found Dave Bensman on Angie's List with "A" ratings. He scheduled the appointment promptly and arrived on time. Dave set up the computer, transferred all data, downloaded a security protection that I had and made sure that my husband and I both had our individual e-mails and favorites intact. He was very thorough and patient when I asked him to repeat something, as we're not very computer literate and called the next day to see if everything was to our satisfaction. We were very impressed by his knowledge and love of doing his job and will definitely have him take care of our computer needs in the future.

David Bensman explained me very clearly what he was going to do as well as the risks involved. He saved all my files to a flash disk that he brought and worked for 3 hours to reformat the hard disk and then downloaded all my documents from his flash disk to my hard disk. He left and then he remembered that he had not downloaded 2 software that I had in my laptop so he asked me to come back and do it. Obviously I welcomed his initiative and he came back 2 hours later. He downloaded the software in less than 10 minutes and that way my laptop was ready to go, faster and much better than before. I cannot remember when was the last time I had such an outstanding quality of service. David's quality of service at your home ( which is unheard of) is a breath of fresh air in a society where customer service is dead. I would recommend David's services with my eyes closed. He is outstanding.

I got home from work to find that my computer was displaying a BIOS error, and would not boot up. I did not know who to call or where to take it. I decided to become a member of Angie's List, and see who was recommended. I saw that BENSMAN Home Computer Repair had 23 reviews, and they were all "A" rated. After reading a few reviews I called David, and told him about my computer problem. He came to my house an hour later, and within the next hour he fixed my computer's problem. However, he did more than fix the problem I called him about. My computer had not been able to read the second hard drive on my computer in over a year, and two other computer technicians had unable to fix the problem. David was able to fix that problem as well. I was very impressed with his skill and knowledge about computers, as well his professionalism. David will be the only person I turn to in the future for computer issues.

Great, Dave was on time, cleaned all the nasty viruses off the computer and even helped set up my Netflix account.

Mr. Bensman is very thorough. He is very patient in explaining things to someone who is technilogically challenged! He is very detailed-oriented. Makes double sure everything is working before he leaves. This is the second time I have used him and been very pleased both times. I recommend him highly.

David was able to quickly determine that my internet was running slow and after confirming that it was not my wi fi system in the house he started checking the computer for possible causes. I had received a bogus email from paypal which was a scam and clicked on it and we decided that there may be malware installed on the computer so he brought it back to the factory settings. It still ran slow while the other computers in the house were functioning properly. We moved the computer to a different position in the house closer to the wi fi and it immediately started working better. He thinks that the network adapter in my computer may be weak and if the problem persists he suggested that I contact HP as it is under warranty. He was knowledgeable and I would call him again if I had another problem.

Everything went smoothly. Dave did a good job explaining things to me in an accesible way. I am an accountant and although I know a great deal about my trade computers have always been a bit of a mystery to me. From now on if I have a computer problem I know I'll call Dave.

Great! My problem was resolved promptly. Dave Bensman came to my house within two hours of first contact. He was prompt, courteous,very focused, highly professional. I liked his approach - fix the problem now, at my house, instead of asking me to drag my computer to a repair depot and then wait several days or weeks for a clerk (not the repair person) to call me that it can be picked up and I have to test it myself.

Woke up dreading finding an honest, knowledgeable & reliable tech who could come before Christmas. Checking A.L. + BBB, Bensman jumped out at me with 11 recommends and an A score. B3 was A+ so I called-he picked up on the 2nd ring, said he is in the neighborhood & can come within half an hour. David arrived in a flash & blew into my house like a cool breeze & commenced to trouble-shoot & condemn old printer then install new. Nothing surprised, confused, consternated or slowed him. He is a true computer wizard. He also installed improvements & instructed this old dunderhead how to use my computer more efficiently. I will never call any one else. PS: Serendipity: David is a WWII history buff like me.

Showed up on time. Assessed the problem with PC. Recovered all data from crashed PC. Gave good recommendations on future computer puchases. Offered maintenance contracts at reduced hourly rate, although the regular rate is very reasonable. Conduct was very professional. Overall, I am very happy with David and his service. I will definitely be using him again.
