They informed me that nothing was wrong with the foundation, but that my house needed gutters. It appears they gave a good estimate. I felt comfortable with them.

From start to finish, I am and was, very satisfied wity my interaction with American Foundation--from the first phone call to the office through their followup.

They were very polite and very nice. It was good; I had no problems. It was a little expensive but I don’t know; I’ve never had anyone do this type of work.

The job went as described. The men showed up on time and worked diligently. Two men were out sick, so the foreman of the job jumped in and helped do the work. This impressed me. The men hand dug 12 holes deep into the ground and got up under the footing and then drove the pilings into the ground and used pneumatic jacks to raise the house and get it level again. When the job was finished, the Foreman showed me where you could actually see where some of the inside cracks had come together. He did point out where some did not, but stated that they should not move any more. These were movements on inside walls such as crown mouldings pulling down off the ceilings. After being repaired and painted, they shouldn't move any more. I appreciated his honesty on that issue. We didn't have to repair any mortar cracks outside. They were few and very small.. The job took a little longer than the Co had first thought, but I preferred that they do a thorough job and not cut corners to stay on schedule. The overtime involved maybe two days. Their original quote did not change. I liked this Company and I feel sure that they will honor the lifetime warranty and come back if we need them.

I cannot say enough about American Foundation. They are the nicest/best company I have dealt with here in Memphis. They initially repoured some concrete on my driveway, and added a drain, downpipe extenders and pop up valves. Great job. I needed to clear the drain -- after the winter -- Brian came out and showed me how to do it. It was above and beyond what I expected. Very helpful. Randle and Brian are very customer oriented. Very reassuring and a pleasure to deal with. I would use them again anytime. THANKS!

Very prompt and stayed in touch with me. No work was done, however, as this was an estimate only to repair work done by Point of View Design.

I cannot say enough good things about this company. Their sales staff was stretched a bit thin and there were some communications glitches about getting the initial estimate and about a followup visit, but these worked themselves out. I have an older Victorian four-square in midtown with a wooden foundation and a partial basement. I could not find anyone else that was reputable who would work on wooden foundations. American Standard crawled under my house and took photos to show me the problem areas and then walked through every foot of my house testing the floors and walls, pointing out potential problems and areas in need of repair. They were very up front about what they could do and what they could not do and gave me a full understanding of likely problems such as cracking plaster and torn wallpaper, that I was likely to encounter. With the knowledge of what I wanted fixed and how much risk I was willing to assume (I don't mind patching plaster but would prefer not to deal with torn wall paper) they mapped out a plan of action, a tentative schedule, and a cost estimate. I thought the price reasonable for what they would be doing and work started. Their crew could not have been nicer. They kept me informed throughout the entire process, explaining each step and letting me reassess risks. When cracks started to develop, they quickly modified their procedure to minimize the damage. They did this time after time, never getting rushed to finish the job, always ready to undo a procedure that they had just done and lug heavy equipment to a different area to see if they could get better results while minimizing damage. I knew that some damage to the walls was inevitable, but they were really concerned about keeping it to the absolute minimum. I could see that it would be very easy for a company to come in, start jacking up the foundation and tell the owners that cracks are going to happen--never letting me know that perhaps if they moved the jacks to a different spot, less damage would occur. Sometime after the work was done, I noticed a problem with how my front door opened and closed. In spite of having been paid and my signing off on their work, they were back out to my house, crawling under the foundation and making adjustments until I was satisfied. American Standard is very proud of their reputation. They put a lot of work into making customers happy and their customer ratings show it. I hope that I never have need to use them again, but should the need arise, I wouldn't consider using anyone else.

They didn't actually perform any work but he was very thorough and did a great job. I did not pay anything.

They were incredibly professional, helpful and knowledgeable. The manager Mario Rivasi that came out to talk to me was very courteous and easy to talk to. I would call them again in the future.
