American Standard Foundation Repair

It's been a year since my foundation repair and I am still thrilled with the results. It took a little longer than expected to complete the repair because they seemed to be quite busy with other jobs. However, the work was completed in an acceptable amount of time. The cracked brick was repaired so well that one cannot tell where the repair was made. Great job - I highly recommend this company.

My approximately 7 year old house developed cracks in the brick from the ground to the roof on one corner. I decided to hire an engineer to make a recommendation on what needed to be done to fix the problem instead of just jumping in and hiring a foundation repair company and taking their advice. I contacted 4 companies for quotes and only had 2 show up at the appointed time. Three companies confirmed their appointment times with either written info through the mail or email and one just didn't even bother with anything. After listening to the two presentations I chose American Standard Foundation Repair because of price and the work they agreed to do. ATFR wanted to do more support piers than the other competitor and also repaired the cracks in the brick which the other company didn't want to touch. They showed up on time, did the work and I was impressed with their work. I wouldn't hesitate to use these folks again although I don't anticipate ever needing their services again.

American Standard Foundation Repair. Top notch! Upon purchasing a Big Deal offered by American Standard. I was quickly contacted by them via Angie?s List. We agreed upon a site visit that was convenient to my schedule. Their representative arrived promptly; was dressed appropriately and presented himself professionally. Together, we viewed the project to be considered, and reviewed the various options available. I was presented an impressive, high quality folder containing American Standard?s qualifications; licensed and bonding information, as well as references. I was told I would receive a quote within 24 hours, and was indeed contacted with a professional, yet personable message and attached paperwork. Their quote was above what our budget allowed, but it is my pleasure to recommend them to others. Their expertise is well and above our little project, but we were treated as if our project was as important as the most complex foundation repair.

They made an appointment with me and then they called and verified the appointment. When they called on that day, they let me know they were on their way. They came out. They did their job. They did everything as they had planned to do. Everything they did was spot on. I would use them. I would recommend them 100%. They were wonderful. They were the best among we called.

I would highly recommend these people but they were wanting to charge thousands of dollars due to distance of hauling cement.

Unprofessional crew!! Unorganized...not at all like Mr. Wells( owner)who we met before hiring. Long story short, gutters leak, drainage didn't fix problem...made it worse. Have called and were lied to and told we were on work order. Never heard or saw them again. I don't think they are crooks...they have too many irons in the fire and this lends itself to poor customer service and lower quality. Would never recommend or use again.

Very well. They were super nice and explained everything to me. The owner was very patience with me and helping me to understand. He didn't try to sail me anything. He told me straight up what the problem was, ways I could address, and pricing. I wish he did more than just roofing. I would use him for everything.

Jae and Jesse came out to inspect several areas of my home due to concern over a possible foundation or structural problem. While they were later than our scheduled appointment time they did call early to let me know they would be running late, which I greatly appreciated. When they arrived they were very courteous and professional. They quickly worked through their assessment and measurements explaining everything to me as they went. My home is new and still under warranty so they prepared, along with my quote, a letter detailing their findings that I was able to submit with my warranty claim. Jesse has stayed in touch offering assistance while I have waited to hear from the warranty company regarding coverage. My problem is still ongoing at this time so they have not perfomed work at this time, but so far I have been very happy with their service and would highly recommend.

It went very well to say the least. They were very punctual all the way from Erik coming out for the estimate to the actual work being done. They worked through it from when they go here (about 9 in the morning) to when they left (about 5 in the evening). And I never saw anyone just hanging out etc - they really worked well. Was very happy with the price - it was kind of close or even cheaper than some of the other estimates I got. Will definitely recommend them to anyone looking to do foundation repair.

Everyone worked hard, and they tidied up after themselves, which I appreciate. So far, the leveling work has been well worth it; we won't know how the drainage works out until there is more rain to deal with, but I anticipate that it will work fine. The only difficulty we've had is that the areas where there was digging are very soft and muddy; I put gravel in front of the carport to support foot traffic in that most trafficked area, and it may be that the other areas firm up once they dry-- again, this is a very recent job. Update, January 2015 The repair and the added drainage seem to be doing everything that is hoped. Also, I thought I had a problem with shifting, which turned out to be a combination of my poor vision and a bad flashlight, but Mike sent a whole crew out (6 guys) the morning after I left a message in the late afternoon, who checked it out anyway. They were very understanding about the mistake I'd made.

They did a great job at a reasonable price. We had to change some schedules due to their other jobs taking longer, but it worked out just fine. They came twice and did a great job and also cleaned up the garage after the work was done. We had 3 concrete steps that had to be jack hammered out and then a bit of patching done to the wall. Mr. Wells was very responsive on email and the person who did the work was really very pleasant and professional.

They went above and beyond what a normal foundation repair company does, only so that I can be happy. Although I wouldn't want to deal with foundation repair ever again, I would use them again if the need arises. I highly recommend them. |

Our home doesn't have a concrete foundation and is approximately 50-60 years old. We needed the floors to be leveled in four, maybe five, areas. We called American Standard Foundation Repair LLC for a quote. They happened to be in our area, so we got our quote in a few days. We then talked with the owner, Jae Wells, to help us understand the procedure of leveling he would do. After talking with Jae, we felt his way to correct our problems was the best. They use jacks under the floor to level each area in need. They simply raise or lower the jacks to level floor. There is one man under the house placing jacks and another man inside the house with a level to make sure the jack is in the right place and has leveled the floor of the room correctly They didn't have to replace any joists or beams, and the ground under our house was dry. This was good news to us, because if problems existed the estimate would be larger. His warranty is 18 months after the job is completed. If problems in any area occur after completion, we are to call Jae and he will get his crew here to correct problems ASAP with, of course, no charge during the warranty. After warranty expiration, he will still provide top priority services needed as quickly as possible for a fair rate. On the first day his crew came, Jae and his assistant were here too. He said he would check with his foreman often to see how the job was proceeding. He would also come by to keep check on everything. His guys were very professional and polite; they worked hard each day. They asked often if we were satisfied with the work so far. If we had questions or felt the floor should be raised or lowered to be level, they got right on it to keep us satisfied. We had two rooms that I felt needed adjustments, and they worked with me until I was completely satisfied. It took approximately four days for completion of the job. We are very satisfied with American Standard Foundation Repair, LLC. We definitely made the right decision to go with Jae Wells and American Standard Foundation Repair, LLC.

Everything went extremely well and I could not have found a better company to deal with considering all the factors involved. Thank you Angies List!

We requested an estimate and Jae arrived on time and gave us a price for fixing our foundation. He was very knowledgeable and willing to work the repair around our schedules. A date was scheduled for the repair but bad weather forced them to come a day early. We were given advance notice that they would be coming early. On the first day of work, when deep holes were being dug by hand beneath the foundation, one of the workers accidentally cut our phone line. We notified Jae of the problem and he had one of his people come out a few hours later to fix the problem. The front porch cement replacement was also done on the first day. One of Jae's people also showed us how and where to place the gutter drainage pipes. The first phase of the repair was finished after a rain delay of one day. The second phase of the repair included the installation of four more piers and also the replacement of cracked mortar in the exterior brick work. The workers came on time and were finished in two days.

Everything was fine, one area had changed a little bit. They're going to work on it. We're selling our house and they were doing a reinspection for our buyers. They also take photos of the areas when they give you an estimate. They also offer references that I was able to check out.

The work they did was good, but ultimately didn't solve the problem. The job was done about a year but it wasn't until this past week that we found that the leak was still taking place. They installed a French drain in our front yard. When they were here, they worked very hard, and stuck to their estimate, and even did more than they said they would, so I can't really complain. One other issue we had is that they didn't replace the bushes out front as we requested, they said that was not their area of expertise. They put them back, but not quite as they were before they did the job.

The sub-contractor (Roberto Coronado) referred by ASFR did a fantastic job. I was impressed that Jae Wells from ASFR took to the time to have someone else call me to enlarge my brick wall opening. Their estimate was free, so they made no money off me. Only their sub-contractor, who gave me a quote of $160, was paid anything. He was very professional and even cleaned up all the debris left from grinding out the bricks.

Our house has started settling causing the brick on the front of the house and the foundation to crack from the top of the house all the way to the ground. American Standard came to use (about 1.5 hours away) and did a free estimate. The estimate involved pylons being installed in 5 spots across the front of the house. The cost was about $950 each (total= $4750). There was a little sticker shock initially but after calling around they were MUCH MUCH cheaper than the locals I contacted. We will be using them for the repair. Further, they have a lifetime transferrable warranty on the work.

Had some cracking in the exterior brick, appeared to be cosmetic but wanted an expert to evaluate. American Standard was quick to to reply back to my Email request and set up the appointment. A conflict developed in the estimator's schedule so they called in advance to notify me and reschedule. Randall gave me a heads up that he was running a little late, was very professional and polite. Looked over the area in question and surrounding structure and confirmed that it was nothing major to worry about at this time. Gave me some pointers on extending my down spout run outs, a card and told me to call back if I had any other issues. No cost and great service, a rarity in 2012. Would highly recommend.

I didn't pay anything. I would use them again.
