Allied Waste Services of Memphis

The straw that broke the back was todays notification from the carrier. I am a scheduled pickup on Thursday and they sent emails and alerts that they would be picking up late due to the cold weather and was delayed by one day then 2 days. Today they sent an alert that they will pick up everything on our regular pick up date. Thoughout the course of my contract I have had missed pickups due to union strikes, and not picking up for assorted reasons. Sometimes they would pick up the garbage can but leave the bagged garbage because they did not want to get out of their truck. This was witnessed on 3 different times and when asked for a supervisor to call me no one would return a phone call.

Allied Waste Service does garbage collection for us because we live outside of the city limits. They are currently serving. Normally they provide us with a can and we fill it up, take it down to the road and they pick it up. They do it once a week and normally we do okay with them most of the time. They do what they say they will do basically and they run on a regular basis. It is not like they leave the trash and stuff like that. They run the day they are supposed to run and they pick up on contract of pickup. We do not really have any problems with them.
