I had contacted another electrician that had sent one electrician who decided the entire breaker box and the problem circuit both needed to be replaced for a quoted $1700. I called A-C Electric for a second opinion since we were not prepared to spend that amount of money at the current time. They sent two electricians (Brian Sigler and trainee Deion Kerr) who moved one breaker in the box and detached a portion of the problem circuit that was "hot" from any power, leaving the significant part of the circuit on for a total of $170.00, which was only $20 more than the price the other electrician charged us for his service call without a solution to the problem. I will definitely go back to A-C when we are ready to have more major electrical work done.

They came right on in I was the one who figured it out I said we got this crummy looking electrical socket in the bathroom and sure enough he said you just saved a bunch of money because we're getting ready to check every socket until, he thought it would probably be a bad socket, they were good we used them before. Their very good about being prompt when they say their gonna come, their usually pretty good about being around the time they do tell us their coming. They'll tell us the truth, like their busy today how about tomorrow that type of thing or we're busy but we can come in the afternoon, at least they tell us when their busy.

I have used AC Electric in the past and I think they do terrific work. But I have to add—make sure when you call them to ask what time the service call starts. They tried to tell me that it started from the time of the last appointment and I was to be charged for their travel time. This is unfair. I should not be paying them but for the time they are here. I suggest anyone using an electrician use a timer on your phone. In this particular case, he was here for 50 minutes and, after talking on the phone, I got them to charge me for one hour's service. Paying for their travel time should be revealed as a cost up front. Trying to sneak it in to get more for the call is dishonest, in my opinion. I hope they discard this policy. I would have loved to give them a great review, but I cannot as long as this policy is in place.

All the workers were very knowledgeable and courteous. I was given a lot of information before any work began so we were clear on the time frame and scope of work. I would recommend to others.

Will be switching to Ellendale going forward.

There are a lot of companies to choose from when you need an electrician. We were fortunate to choose A-C Electric. They went above and beyond in meeting our needs. We had them come out to wire for a new double oven only to find out that the appliance company had shipped the wrong unit. Since we didn't know the requirements of the correct oven, they GLADLY rescheduled and came out AGAIN when the correct oven arrived. They were very customer oriented and we really appreciate the way they worked with us.

They had the best price and covered and explained everything in detail. He also gave us his card and cell phone in case we had questions or concerns in the future. We are first time homeowners with a baby on the way and we feel more confident that our house is safe for our family.

Whomever answered the phone when I called for service was pleasant and professional. The electrician was prompt and performed the work quickly. I must believe they are honest as well, as the things we were having problems with suggested a much bigger problem. However the electrician checked and no bigger issue existed.

They arrived on time and had a two man crew. It was quoted with a cost of $75. They arrived and within 30 mins they were done and the fan was installed perfectly. It was located in the upstairs media room. Since they were so fast, I want to have them come back to install a few more fans and light fixtures. I couldn't have had a more perfect interaction with them.

Cale came out and fixed the damaged socket in about 45 minutes. We've AC several times and Cale has always done the work for us. Each and every time we've used AC they provide prompt service and the job is done correctly the first time. We've had them out 4 or 5 times over the course of 3 years for minor jobs and will continue to go back to them. It's great to have someone you can rely on and trust to work on your home.

Everything went well. The electrician was extremely professional and knowledgeable. I would use this company again for any future electrical issues at my home.

Service provided was great. Service technician arrived punctually for estimate and was extremely courteous and more than willing to answer all my questions during our initial visit. I had multiple estimates performed prior to the work being done, and while not the very lowest bid, I felt their estimate to be very fair compared to the other companies. Honestly, I was just more comfortable with AC Electric performing the work based on their professionalism during this process. The work was performed on time and as scheduled. I am completely satisfied with their work and would recommend them to others without reservation.

A-C Electric was available right away and they were very friendly, professional and less expensive than other quotes I had received. They installed the outlets in a fairly short amount of time and even cleaned the mess that was in the wall that was sitting under the old oven (which I should have done before they arrived). They also installed a plug on my new oven, which was a bonus for me! I would definitely use them again, great experience.

As it turned out, when a switch was replaced, a white wire was not connected to the others breaking the connection from the rest of the lights on the front of the house. The guys found the issue in a matter of minutes and had me up and running in no time flat. The guys are friendly and very good at their jobs. I will definitely get them out to do any electrical work I have in the future!

A tree removal company strained the power service line coming from the MLGW pole to the house. The pole coming into the meter (attached to the roof) was bent and the meter housing was buckled. They provided an estimate and replaced the meter housing and pole and reconnected the electrical. It was done in about 4 hours. Since all the work was outside, I did not have to be home for either the estimate or the work. They cleaned up their work area after they finished. Professional interaction and easy scheduling.

They took care of some ungrounded three prong outlets in a house that I bought. The price was reasonable, and the service was prompt and efficient. I will use them again in the future and I would recommend them to my friends.

We had a fluorescent light in the kitchen but it was ugly so we took it down and put up a smaller light. Wrong thing to do because when the sun wasn't shining it was so dark in there. I found A-C Electric on Angie's list and called for a free estimate on hanging a pendant light to add to the light. They came right out and said there would have to be a hole cut to wire it where I wanted it and we all agreed that wasn't something we wanted to do. He said that we really needed another fluorescent light. My husband and I discussed it and we went and bought a new fixture and I called on Friday and they were here on Monday to put it up. Everyone from A-C Electric that we dealt with was courteous, pleasant and polite. I will be using them soon again!

I highly recommend calling AC Electric. I was doing some remodeling work in my home and my project was being held up by some electrical work that needed to be done right away. I called and they were at my home within 2 hours which was a very fast response. 2 other companies couldn't make it out for several days. AC was able to work me into their already busy schedule. Cale and Joe were the electricians. Very polite, professional. Did a great job, exactly what I was looking for. For the amount of work they did, the price was great.

They gave us a very competitive and detailed estimate, so we decided to give them a try. The workers came on time and were professional and polite. They got the work done on time and cleaned up after they were done. We will certainly use them again for any needed electrical work.

The two men arrived promptly around 8am, and my quoted time of arrival was between 8a-12p, so it was nice they were on the early side! They were very professional and completed the work in a timely manner. Would definitely recommend these guys!

Extremely professional, polite, and punctual. Everything they did works perfectly. The price was very reasonable for the hours spent on all of the different jobs they did. I will call them again when I need more electrical work.

Installation was very professional....service very friendly. The cost was very surprising...only $75.00 to install two kitchen lights and a ceiling fan. I highly recommend this company

My experience was that AC Electric deserves all the kudos it has received on Angie's List. I would give them an A+ rating if the ratings chart permitted it. Cale was the foreman for the job, and he was terrific. His assistant was also great. Cale installed a new receptacle in my very, very hot attic and also had to provide additional bracing in the attic for the original Hunter fan he installed in the downstairs music room. They installed other ceiling fans in two bedrooms within very tight spaces that didn't give them a lot of room to work. They were thorough, careful, considerate, and easy to work with. The price was very, very reasonable, especially when I consider what I paid to another company just a few years ago simply to have three or four light fixtures changed out. I recommend them without any reservations whatsoever. When I need electrical work in the future, I will be calling AC Electric and asking for Cale!
