+ -1 moreOK.I called because our conditioning air was not keeping up. He came the next day.added something, cleaned filter and explained where my other intake was and what kind of filters to by and only charged me 49.95 for everything. The last time I called someone it cost more than that just for the service call.
Description of Work: This guy's reviews were so good, I thought maybe he had his friends write them. I have never met the man and I have to say the reviews were NOT over rated! This guy was great. What every service provider should be. Honest, reasonable, every good trait you could think of. l Highly recommend him.

+ -1 moreOMGosh! After you have read this you won't call anyone else. On Tuesday, Sept 2, 2014 we called at 7:30 a.m. to have our Air Conditioner looked at because it had gone out the night before. We were so pleasantly surprised to get a human and not an answering machine (mind you this is the day after the Labor Day holiday). After speaking to Russ, he made an appointment to be to our house at 9:00 a.m. What??? Unbelievable!!! And as promised Russ was at our door. My husband and Russ talked, Russ looked over our unit, advised my husband what needed to be done and then went ahead and repaired the unit. Before, during and after repairing the unit my husband and Russ carried on a very friendly conversation. My husband, and I quote, said "Russ is one of the nicest most honest men I have ever met". We truly cannot say enough great things about this man, his honesty, his integrity, his work ethic. He is genuinely one of the best!

+ -1 moreRuss did a fantastic job with the installation of our 12000 BTU mini split heat pump. I did the preliminary work (basic unit location, drilling holes, etc.). He did the installation of control wiring and tubing and then did all of the HVAC setup and test run. Before the job, I hit him with many questions via e-mail and the phone, and he graciously addressed all of them. He left the job site just as clean as when he got there. Russ is a true professional and it was a pleasure to work alongside him for a few hours.

Description of Work: Mr. Turner came out to see what kind of old unit I had. He checked it and told me what was wrong with my unit. I had already ordered a new unit and Mr. Turner let me know what else I needed to order to make sure my unit would work properly. Mr. Turner installed a new heating and air unit for me and he was prompt and very professional. I will use him in the future for any of my heating and air needs. I recommend that if you are in the middle Tennessee area and need someone to work on your heating and air that you call A1BetterHandyman. A +++++++++++ rating. He guarantees his work and stands behind it 100%.
