TRINITY CONSTRUCTION

I don't think they are bad. They just took a few days to work the quote up, but I don't think there was bad about the process or anything. It's just that their quote was a little bit high. They seemed very knowledgeable. They showed up when they were suppose to.

Working with Trinity Construction was a pleasure from beginning to end. I called and left a message for Bill Evans in late March 2012 and he returned my call within a day. I explained the problems with our bricked front steps and the cracking mortar in the back deck, which is concrete with a brick wall around it. We scheduled a day and time for Bill to come to the house. After looking at our front steps he explained that we needed the slab of concrete under the steps lifted before any work could be done as the slab had sunk thus separating the steps from the front porch. He further explained that our existing front steps did not meet code and could not be rebuilt as designed without our having to increase the size of the concrete slab, which would be an additional expense. He proposed a redesign by installing winding steps directly in front of the double front doors, which would then open the full concrete slab for the walkway in front of the house. In addition, Bill checked the cracked mortar around our back porch and explained how they could repair it and they would check for further cracked mortar on the house. As I had decided to have overlays installed on our three porches and needed to have the concrete slab lifted, we agreed that I would keep Bill advised as to when we would be ready to begin with the masonry work. In mid-April I called Bill and asked him if he thought they could get this work scheduled around mid-May. As agreed, I emailed Bill on May 7 to confirm our schedule and he called me on May 10 to advise me that his crew would start the work on May 14. At 7:30 am on May 14, four employees from Trinity Construction were removing the front steps, determined to finish all masonry work as soon as possible. All work was completed by noon on May 16. Not only were my husband and I happy with the speed in which the Trinity crew completed the work, but we appreciated the consideration they gave us in explaining what they were going to do and asking for our input. We believe that the most important thing in working with a contractor is communication, and we had successful communication with everyone from Trinity Construction. We also appreciate how clean they kept our property while they worked, and how they cleaned up all the residue from the mortar and brick before they left. We are extremely pleased with our different and beautiful front entry steps and the new mortar around the back porch. We also found the price of this work to be fair and we would hire Trinity Construction again. We highly recommend them.
