Description of Work: Charlie finished a hardwood stair remodel job that another company had messed up on and left unfinished. Charlie came in and knew what to do--installed handrail, trim work, iron balusters, sanded wood, etc. Very professional job. Very happy with work.

Description of Work: Trim Masters carefully removed the railing and balusters in our house so that hard wood floors could be installed on our second floor. After the hard wood floors were completed Trim Masters was able to reinstall the railing and balusters salvaging it without any damage and reinforcing the railing much more securely than how it originally was.

Description of Work: Trimmaster did an excellent job remodeling our staircase from carpet to hardwood with iron spindles. They also. Installed crown moulding throughout our living area and kitchen. Charlie and his team were polite, professional, punctual, and very detailed oriented.

Description of Work: Charlie and his son Brandon worked on two projects for me. One was related to the exterior front door entryway and the other involved adding picture molding to the lower chair rail areas in my home. The first project: they completely rebuilt the entryway trim to my front door alcove which had been cladded by the builder in interior-grade wood paneling. As expected given the materials used by the builder, the paneling did not hold up well over the years to repeated water and sun exposure. Charlie recladded the entire area with a Certainteed PVC-type material (which is looks like wood but is impervious to the weather/sun damage) and then added decorative trim molding pieces to that area. He also built additional new trim moldings for the brick area adjacent to the alcove which frames and finishes the door alcove nicely. The end result is a much more grand and beautiful entryway area to my home. Charlie and I worked together closely on the design of the projects to make sure that we were on the same page and that the end product would be what I was expecting. He was eager to listen to my input and discuss issues/concerns with things as they came up. As previously mentioned, the second project involved adding picture molding to the lower chair rail areas of my kitchen, foyer, and along foyer stairwell. Charlie is highly skilled in determining beautiful proportions and detail in all the trim work they complete. He does not hurry through the process but takes time to think through just the "right" spacing and detail appropriate for the area. I am thoroughly pleased with all his work and plan to use him again on future projects in my home. The price above includes all materials and labor; painting, finish sanding, and caulking were not included in the price above.

Description of Work: Outstanding job. The crown moulding in our master bedroom is gorgeous. No seams, that I can see anyway. Beautiful job. Also had pull-out pantry shelves built into our pantry. Really nice job. Could not have been any better. Charlie and his son, Brandon, were consummate professionals. Neat, both in keeping the project clean and in appearance.

Description of Work: My Boxer puppies ate one of the kitchen's wooden window sills and they ate a couple of the baseboards. Charlie and Brian removed all the damaged wood and replaced it with a new sill and baseboards. They also filled in all the nail holes and painted the sill and baseboards.

Description of Work: Trim Masters performed multiple small woodworking jobs around my home including refurbishing and weatherproofing a badly worn front door. They recommended refurbishing rather than replacing the door since replacing would necessitate ordering a custom-sized door which would be much more expensive. They also made repairs to a fireplace mantle, added missing trim in the kitchen and a bath, and repaired a rotted window sill.

Description of Work: Charlie and his son Brandon created a beautiful red oak staircase in our home. They are TRUE professionals and take great pride in their work. The finished product was truly a masterpiece and exceeded our expectations. Every inch of my new staircase is perfect. I am one that notices everything and I could not see any imperfections. It was like a beautiful piece of furniture when it was all finished. Every cut was a perfect fit. They even went out of their way to add a piece of trim around the stairnose to add a finished look. I was very impressed! I highly recommend Trim Masters for those of you considering a new staircase.

Description of Work: Trim Masters did some remodeling work in my kitchen.

Description of Work: Charlie and his son tightened and repaired our staircase that had been poorly constructed when we built. Additionally, they repaired trim, reconstructed a door, and rehung doors that had been done badly. Then the nailed our and repaired approximately 3000 sq ft of tongue and groove ceiling that was loose. Finally, they recommended a painter to complete the jobs in the house that they could not do.

Description of Work: We just moved into our new house and wanted shelves built in the pantry. I called Charlie Zimmer for and estimate. He made an appointment to come the next day. He arrived on time, took measurements and called that afternoon with the estimate. We agreed with the price and asked to setup a work date. Mr.Zimmer said he could purchase the boards and have them primed, sanded and painted the following day so that he could install them the day after that. He and his son, Brandon, arrived at our house at the scheduled time the day after the boards were ready and had 7 shelves, covering two walls, installed in about 4 hours.
