I told them that I wanted the insulation work done and they were the lowest bidder. At the time I explained that I had a energy right inspection and told them of TVA inspection results and that I anticipated upon completing the job that I would collect the rebate. They said that when I was finished that they would furnish me with a document so that I could file for the rebate. They came and performed the work and left without giving me the paperwork. When asked they said that the office would furnish the receipt. This past November I asked them for the paperwork so that I could file. It was several calls before I received a receipt for the work along with a Corning warrantee on the loose fill. I asked them to fill out the paperwork so that I could collect the rebate from TVA. They delivered it. When I tried to file I was told that they were part of the TVA energy right program but were delisted after calling TVA. TVA person could not tell me when they were delisted, but I was not eligible for the rebate of $500.Then I tried my whole house fan because of paint smells and found that they totally enclosed the entrance to the the house with a box so that the fan was unusable. I called them and sent an email to them with no response to date. Good job but they are NOT qualified in the TVA energy right program. I have tried calling them without their response. They did not return any of my calls, I have been calling them for near 6 months and ready to take them to court for a failure to perform the work as contracted. I took pictures of the attic insulation when I noticed that part my roof had snow after a few days following a snow fall. The other part of the roof was clear of snow. When it was inspected, the person took pictures and said that the blown insulation was insufficient; certainly not as promised. I will not recommend doing business with this firm.
Description of Work: Installed insulation batten and blown insulation in my attic. Boxed the chimney in the attic to stop drafts. Boxed my whole-house blower. Installed paper backed insulation on the ceiling of my garage.

The installation job went fine. Prompt and quick service. This was done before we actually moved into the condo. We moved from the 4/26/13 to 4/30/13. Clothes were now on the shelves. The new wire hanged for my wife's clothing was the only hanger on that side of the walk-in closet and was capable for short and long clothing. Within a two weeks after putting in the clothes my wife noticed that the attachment which held the hanger to the wall on one end had come completely out of the wall and was not holding up the clothes and left a two by four inch hold in wall. When she noticed it she called the man who supervised the job and he came the very next day. Put in some support on both ends of the rack and took a picture of the hold and said he would get back with us. After a week we called the supervisor. Did not return our call. We tried the office and had trouble getting anyone to answer the phone and when we finally did, we were told that they would put us on the schedule for repairs. We finally got the owner's name and phone number the third week of June. He and the supervisor came the next day and repaired the whole in the wall and told the supervisor to come back the following day and put in some supports in the wall where their was two by four support. He did come the next day and put in two supports but not in wood. Not necessary he said. So far the shelf is hold and the whole in the wall is fixed. But too entirely too long and two much calling.
Description of Work: Moved and added some wire closet shelves in three closets

After placing my order for the new shower door & until its receipt, Triangle wouldn't commit to a specific time of day to arrive on site to complete this work. I simply asked Triangle to contact me on our scheduled day of installation at least 1 hour before the installer headed to the job so I would have time to be there too. By mid-morning I hadn't heard from anyone so I called to see when the installer was coming & Triangle told me he was already there?!?! I asked why I wasn't contacted as requested & was told they forgot!?!? So, I called my customer as I made my way to his house & he confirmed that the installer was there and just finishing up. Upon my arrival, the installer had already left and I found the shower door frame had mismatching colors, a missing head frame and the installer left some trash in his work area. After cleaning up his mess then reviewing these issues with my customer we both agreed to have the items corrected. At this point, I'm embarrassed and very disappointed because had I been contacted as requested this would have been prevented. After reviewing these problems with Triangle they advised that a new door would be ordered. I asked why didn't they check everything out before sending the mismatched door to the job & why the installer installed the mismatched door & they said they assumed everything was okay & the installer just didn't see it!?!? So, after several days & numerous follow up calls to Triangle & my efforts to expedite this small project it was finally completed a month later. Even after the problem with the door, Triangle still wouldn't commit to a specific time to be on site other than saying "they'll be there first thing in the morning". I was on site at 8:30am & they finally showed up 2-1/2 hours later! The job was finally properly complete & a discount was given to offset the delay to my customer. Fortunately, my customer was very patient and still appreciated my efforts to complete this project. Now, I just hope he'll contact me for future project needs. I have used Triangle before but due to their lack of professionalism, communication, commitment & customer service on this small project from their sales rep, manager, etc., ... I will NOT use or recommend Triangle to anyone!!

In the next day. They never came, to my knowledge. My business seemed to be a nuisance to them and they didn't seem to care whether or not I just cancelled the job all together. Maybe 660$ is small change compared to what they normally do. I was happy to have the 10% Angie's List coupon. That made me feel better. But, they never corrected the invoice even after I told them. So I just mailed in the amount with my own 10% reduction and the coupon.
Description of Work: Install insulation in a crawl space under our sunroom and place vapor barrier. I called the main office to schedule a time for someone to come and give an estimate. We have a sunroom added on to the back of the house that needed insulation and a vapor barrier. She gave me the phone number for the man who services my area, Dylan. He was very unresponsive. I scheduled with him twice and he did not come. On the third time, I called the office again and asked for someone else who could service my area. They gave me Alan Bales. He was responsive and came and provided an estimate, but then when I scheduled the work, he gave it back to Dylan to complete. They didn't show at the scheduled time and I had to call and reschedule. At this point, I felt like I was begging them to actually do the work and that they could care less about keeping my business. Must be a popular place, because the excuse was always that they were very busy with other more urgent jobs. Finally we scheduled for afternoon on the 23rd and nobody came. I called Alan again, and he told me they came that morning and completed the work. I was upset that I rearranged my schedule to be there while they worked and nobody called me to tell me they changed their arrival time to morning. I went and looked at the work. The insulation was fine, but the vapor barrier had already blew up in one part because they had not secured it properly. I called Alan again to see if that is how they were going to leave it or if they would come back and secure it. He seemed impatient with me, saying that they don't normally tape or pin the vapor barrier, only lay down the plastic. But, he agreed to send the crew back aga

The job entailed installing R30 in the attic with baffles to preserve the air flow, adding a baffle to stop the air flow around the chimney in the attic. They installed paper backed R-13 over the existing old, paperless battens held in place by wire on the ceiling of our garage to protect the kitchen floor from cold weather. The job was completed in a few hours and the crew left. They cleaned up after themselves picking up all the stiffened wire. Inspecting the job later, it was excellent.
Description of Work: We had two estimates. Triangle Building Products Inc. was half the cost of the other estimate. The day of the installation, the installation crew came at the time estimated. They were efficient and where professional in managing and executing the job. t I did not hear them go. Did not ask for payment at that time.

The person in the office was polite and professional, even calling after the appointment to check on the service. The crew arrived on time as scheduled, and the work was performed as indicated on the estimate. We are pleased with the product itself, and the installation and customer service were both very good. I would definitely recommend Triangle.
Description of Work: After months of research and disappointing contact with other companies, we fortunately called Triangle. They installed new gutters with guards on our home.

We were able to get an appointment quickly. The salesman came to the house when he said he would, and explained options clearly. We had done some online research, and asked him several questions. He listened patiently and explained why his suggestions differed. He actually down-sold us, because we originally wanted a more expensive type of blown insulation at a higher R-value. He explained that fiberglass insulation is lighter and thus does not compress existing blown insulation as much, which also protects the interior ceiling from bowing and popping nails out. We went with his suggestions. The work was scheduled a few days later. Two workers arrived in a branded truck. They did not speak English very well, but they were very polite and professional. At one point a worker removed a screen so they could run the blower tube through a window; he explained to me what he wanted to do and got my permission first. After they were done, they replaced the screen and vaccuumed up the stray bits of fiberglass.
Description of Work: Blown insulation added to attic, and batts installed in garage ceiling
