Tile Technics

The shower walls are crooked, and he claimed he was unable to make a 45 degree cut in the tile to make a corner connect, left sharp metal edges all round the cubby hole for shampoo. the glass tile for a break in the regular tile is crooked and missing half a piece, the bathroom floor had two sides of the molding removed, he tiled all the way to the wall there, he broke our corner vanity while removing it, and the did not remove the rest of the molding, instead he cut the tile to lay around it, and gapped it so bad that even quarter round molding will not cover it. as he had not completed the job we had not paid him all the money yet. when he showed back up to fix the problems he demanded his money first before he would finish the job. we refused to pay him until he finished. at this point he threaten to go "bust up" what he had already done. Then threaten to call the police, we advised him to go ahead, and he then refused. as he was backing out of the driveway he screamed " you don't know who you've f@cked with, I'm going to f@cking burn your house down, mother f@ckers. by the way, the man, is the sole owner, shannon davis

We left Shannon with agreed instructions on what we wanted done, paid him for his supplies and left for wk of vacation. When we returned we were not satisfied with the finished product. He had used metal strips to edge tile. These strips were sharp and could easily cut. Further he tiled our floor in the bathroom but on tow of the three walls he did not remove the baseboard. He said we were supposed to do that and since it wasn't done he tiles to the baseboards on two of the walls leaving a terrible gap. We called him to come back which he did to collect the balance of his money. He agreed to fix the problems for an additional $100.00. However when it came time to fixing these issues he said that it would cost us $100.00 plus we would have to buy all the supplies again. Nothing had been said about this until then. When we told him that was not our agreement and that his workmanship was the issue anyway he began to make excuses such as you can't cut tile on a 45 degree angle with a miter saw, etc. We stuck to our guns and told him we wanted him to stay with his agreement. He became extremely angry saying we were withholding his money from him and so on. He threatened to call the police to which we agreed. Although he did not make the call as he was leaving our home he shouted out his window that we did not know who we were dealing with and that he would burn our F?ing house down. A short time later my husband received a PM on face book from a female he did not know. This message was equally as nasty and threatening as Shannon's threat when leaving our home. The PM said they knew were we lived and F this and F that and called me a fat A.. B?. and so one. At this point we called the police to make a report. The police came and during that time we got a text from Shannon saying he still wanted to do the job but it would cost the 100 plus supplies. At this point we declined the offer. The report was made by Blount County Sheriff's Office for verbal threats and harassment. I strongly suggest anyone considering this man who is the sole owner of Tile Technics, for work in their home, to STAY AWAY from him. It appears that he is a hot head and could possibly be a threat to your safety.

Everything went great very timely and does a high quality job
