Thompson Appliance Service

David Thompson came to the house and diagnosed the problems. While he was here he checked the availability of the replacement parts and found that because of the age of the appliances the parts were not in inventory with his suppliers. He placed the order for the parts and told us what the parts cost would be. It took a few days for the supplier to obtain the repair parts and get them to David. He called and made an appointment for that very afternoon and he arrived on time with the correct repair parts. The oven control panel had been greatly modified from the original as far as the wire connections on the back of the panel. Even with the instructions from GE it wasn't very straight forward and so took a little longer to install than David had figured. The water line control valve assembly was much more straight forward and installed with very little effort after the refrigerator was once pulled out away from the wall. While David was back there he asked for some dampened paper towels and proceeded to clean up the floor where the refrigerator had been setting for at least ten years. He didn't have to do that and we greatly appreciated his effort. Even with the delay he was finished in less than an hour and both appliances are functioning as good as new. We are located about twenty miles from his place of business and he made two trips. The service call and the labor for both appliances was $129.85, parts $328.80 and state tax was $44.72. Will continue to rely on David Thompson 865-982-1471 for all our future appliance repair needs.

Need a new appliance

I have used them once or twice a year over the last four years. Their pricing is very reasonable.

He was very prompt, friendly and knowledgeable. He told me a lot of information. It was same day service both times that I've called him. I didn't compare his price.
