 + -1 moreWell, what started as a $145,441.91 house is now $204,458.86 I paid Scotty $65,625.10 (for work performed in less than a "workman's like manner") plus $28,833.76 for materials and supplies (some of which were not used on my property) for a total of $94,458.86 and estimates are coming in at $110,000 to finish the house. He also destroyed my neighbors property and had a port-a-potty in their front yard.
Description of Work: Lost house due to fire. Needed complete rebuild.

 + -1 moreAfter an initial visit to look at what we wanted done, We never saw him again. Never returned phone messages nor followed up when I even visited his shop. Received another assurance that he would provide a bid. We received not another word.

 + -1 moreAll the work was first rate. Scotty's bid was significantly lower than than all others. He and his team were punctual and a pleasure to deal with. His advice on how to achieve our overall objectives was terrific. As the inevitable issues arose he addressed these effectively and without additional charges. We've dealt with many contractors over the years and Scotty is by far the most knowledgeable and professional.
Description of Work: Scotty and his team performed a major remodeling on our home. They created a master suite by combining two closets and remodeling the bathroom and master bedroom, built a deck, built a modern cable rail system around the pool, put wood flooring into the solarium, and removed a wall.
