+ -1 moreMy parents had a pipe burst in their ceiling causing extensive damage. With the water shut off, we needed a plumber to repair the pipe. On a Sunday. On Father's Day. Mr. Davis was the only plumber to return my call. He said he would be here in about an hour. He was early. Mr. Davis quickly found the problems and had them fixed in less than an hour. Mr. Davis' price was very reasonable, especially for a Sunday emergency call. He explained everything to my dad and the insurance agent. Everything went so smoothly for the circumstances. I would recommend Davis Plumbing unconditionally.

+ -1 moreI've used Pat Davis several times down through the years to do various repairs. Once he replaced a wax ring around the base of a toilet where septic odor was escaping, and another time he repaired a faucet. A few months ago I was having a problem with odors coming up from the kitchen drain. Pat reconfigured the plumbing under the sink as the original builder's plumbing assistant had done it badly. A few weeks later he came out and repaired a faucet that was leaking. I will always use Pat Davis for plumbing needs.

+ -1 moreSewer backed up on Friday afternoon. The Public Works Dept. cleaned out the outside line and it still backed up. I spent all weekend trying to clean it myself without success. I called Mr. Davis Monday Morning and he showed up within an hour. He used a heavy duty machine that cleaned it out including cutting out roots. He was here over an hour and charged 150.00, which was what he quoted on the phone. The house is almost 100 years old and the lines are buried under concrete in the basement around 10 feet deep. He said eventually I will need to replace the lines. Even though he doesn't do that kind of work he gave me advice on what needed to be done in the future. He also looked at a couple of other problems and gave me advice on what needed to be done. Next time I will call him as soon as something happens.

+ -1 moreThis was a good experience ... the work performed was very high quality and done in a profesional manner. I will call Pat Davis again for future plumbing work.
Description of Work: Pat Davis called to confirm his estimated arrival time on the appointment date and arrived at the expected time. He removed his shoes before walking on the carpet each time he came into the house. My appointment was to reset a wobbly, leaking commode. After reviewing the work area and confirming the work to be done he made only one trip to the truck for necessary tools and supplies. After confirming exactly what had to be done he worked in a well planned and well prepared fashion. He did the work in a very professional manner and did an excellent job. I then asked for his advice on a leaking faucet (which I had not mentioned when making the appointment). He took the time to work with me on the faucet even though he had already exceeded his planned job time, without complaining or objecting to me. My only dissatisfaction was a bit of mess left behind in the immediate work area, which I had to clean up. But my labor cost is much lower than a plumber's rate so I don't object too much.
