Dwight Campbell the owner was prompt, professional and true to his word. The project took a little longer than he estimated but did a very nice job on sealing the exterior of our log cabin. We provided the sealer that our log cabin provider recommended. This caused a little issue for Dwight since the weather was cooler and wetter than normal. The house looks great. My wife and I would highly recommend Campbell's Painting to others and plan on using them for future needs. UPDATE: They did an excellent job and a great price. A few months later we noticed that the sealer soaked into one of the dormers quite a bit and the wood looked exposed. We contacted Dwight and asked if he could come by and touch this area up. At no additional cost he stopped by and took care of this area and did a great job on it as well. I would highly recommend Campbell's Paint and more in the future.

I have used this company in the past and am always impressed with their professionalism. When one calls, Dwight calls right back and makes an appointment to come out to see what the job will entail. He always is careful not to track into the house. He is upfront about how long it will be until the job is started and gives out a detailed summary of what will be done along with the costs. If there is a change, he always calls. We have bought Groupons twice, and he rounded the time spent to our advantage. They work until the job is done and done right! We feel we have a company that we will call on each time we need a handyman!

It adds to my home value. when attempting to bring in groceries, as a disabled person, they came to help me even which meant a great deal as it would have taken hours for me to do this due to my multiple joint replacements and disabilities. I would use them again in a second! Matter of fact, I am going to through the house again to see if there is anything else I can find that they could help me out with on a later date. I had three guys at my house for 5+ hours. They worked hard the entire time. When our electrical issue turned out to be complicated, they worked diligently to find the easiest, most cost effective way to make the repair. Dwight called me throughout the day to make sure I was comfortable with everything that was going on and made sure I knew that he was available if I had any questions or issues. Can't say enough positive things about this amazing crew!

In the fall I had purchased one of your special. Because of high demand and scheduling conflicts I could not use it until late Spring. I was very pleased with all contact before, during, and after.

Went very well; the crew of three worked swiftly and efficiently replacing the three exhaust fan/vents as requested. AND did an excellent job of cleaning up the debris as they worked and after the job was completed. Could hardly tell they had been here. In the collecting of estimates for these task, Dwight Campbell was the only company that climbed into the attic and took pictures of what needed to be done to vent these fans to outside the house. I was impressed with the interest and professionalism he showed in my project that's why they got the job.

I bought a deal off of Angie's List, but it took a long time for the provider to complete the service. He said it was due to weather delays, but I wonder if it might have been because of the deal, since I'm sure that the deal was less than their normal rates. It took over 2 months before the exterior staining was even scheduled, and then it was rescheduled a couple of times.

Everything was accomplished by Dwight's crew as planed and then some. The two-man work crew was professional and kept me informed of their progress. Additional work was required due to the discovery of some rotten wood after the door frame was removed, which really wasn't a surprise. The crew doing the work handled that well, removing and replacing as needed. I know that the new frame / door is much more securely installed than the original. The increased cost for the additional repair work was reasonable. I had no problem getting Dwight to come out for the original estimate. Campbell's Painting and More was not the least expensive of the three companies I had out to do estimates, but Dwight gave me the impression that he knew what the job required and what might be needed. He worked with me a bit to come to an agreeable price, and I am satisfied with what was accomplished. I am confident that it will prove to be a good repair over time. We will look forward to working with Dwight and his company in the future.

I got on Dwight Campbell's list several months ago when his team was doing some interior work at my home. The very wet spring was a delaying factor, but Dwight was faithful to let me know any change in plans. It was important not to paint and then have it rain within 24 hours. That was a challenge in this crazy wet spring, but finally, his team of very professional and super pleasant guys came to do the work that they promised. The exterior of my older home had several types of siding and therefore took the paint differently. Dwight and his crew did an excellent job of 'matching' the appearance as best they could , even going the extra mile to put an additional coat of paint on the old cedar siding for protection as well as 'looks.' The trim work was well executed. They did miss a little bit of molding around the front and side doors, but promised to be back to complete that and I trust that they will. They were punctual and courteous and cleaned up at the end of each day, never leaving any mess in my yard nor on my porch. None of my bushes were trampled and all my blooming container plants were handled carefully. Dwight came the final day to inspect their progress and I can honestly say, I think we were all very pleased

Excellent work. He had two of his men work on a Saturday to meet my schedule, as furniture movers were to come on Monday. One coat of paint on one large wall did not cover well and I wasn't happy with it. I called Dwight Campbell and talked with him about the need for a second coat. He and his son came that day and applied another coat at no additional charge. Dwight seemed genuinely interested in customer satisfaction. I will definitely call him again for future painting jobs.

The key phrase in Campbell's Painting and More is that little "and More" part. My husband and I have demanding jobs, and frankly we aren't very handy. We were preparing our house to put it on the market, and it needed quite a bit of work. Dwight and his crew tackled every single project. The best part for us was to have a trusted crew onsite that could handle every job, instead of us coordinating several different people who had one specific skill. For example on the french door, Dwight ordered the glass, got it installed by that team, and then his team finished out the trim work and painting to make the door look like new again. At each step, Dwight was mindful of our goal of repairing things that needed it and polishing up things that would attract a buyer, but doing it all on a budget. He followed our ideas but always piped up when he had a better idea that would save money. We did have one project that went over budget - repairing and staining the deck, but that was not anything foreseeable or within Dwight's control, in my opinion. The entire crew was professional and friendly, and went out of their way to treat me respectfully. I had no hesitation of having them in my home whether I was there or not. Dwight always communicated the work that was on tap for the week, and recapped with us at the end of the week. I would gladly do business with them again.

I purchased an Angie's List Deal coupon from Campbell's Painting and More for 2 days and 2 painters for $399 on October 24th, 2012. The work performed was good... it just took over six months to complete it due to various events and weather. Chances are this company is not typically this tardy in dealing with their assignments but it did affect how I scored my overall experience. Read the fine print... the paint is not covered in the cost of the service. Donna W. McClure

They did a fantastic job! I had family coming from out of town and a brother-in-law in the hospital. My request was last minute and because of my circumstances, they fit me into their schedule. Very nice people! Iwill definitely use them again.

Dwight seems very nice, knowledgeable and professional and quickly responded to my initial call and came out that week for an assessment. He told me when he left on a Thursday that he would call me early the next week to go over everything and then sends an estimate in writing. Two weeks later after no communication I emailed him, he called and gave me pricing on some of our projects. We told him we were ready to move forward with two of them which he got estimates on some of the others. I got an email from him two weeks later on 4/29/13 stating he had some estimating to still do. We never heard back from him.

They worked quickly and fixed some odds & ends around my house including a fan, some lights, and a shelf. It went well, the person came on time and finshed the job. They first came out to give me an estimate to check out the work that was to be done. I felt like their system was very organized.

Dwight Campbell was easy to work with even through all the scheduling troubles we had. First, we were trying to get the work done right before the holidays, but we came up with another problem so he agreed to wait until January. Then our chimney started leaking after a rainstorm, and the work had to come to a halt while we consulting with a masonry contractor. With all the delays, Mr. Campbell remained professional as well as understanding. When he hadn't heard from us in a while, he would phone to check up on the situation, but I never felt pressured. When the roof problem was fixed, he made every effort to get the crew back to our house and get all the work done as efficiently as possible. As for the crew, they were punctual, organized, and friendly. And they did a great job -- the areas they worked on all look great! When they'd leave for the day, their materials were gathered up, and when the job was finished they left with it all cleaned up. We would definitely hire him again..

I bought the deal in October, and had been in contact with Mr. Campbell since mid-November. Unfortunately, and not Mr. Campbell's fault, the weather just did not want to cooperate with us! Once his workload permitted and the weather cooperated, Dwight's crew got the job beautifully done in well under 8 hours. I opted to have Mr. Campbell purchase the stain and garage door paint because I believed he could get a better deal; this might not have been the case as I've never paid $50 for Behr exterior gloss paint. ;-) But I still would hire Campbell's again.

Dwight and his team were great to work with. Several things to note are: they were professional and very courteous; they completed the work much sooner than we expected; they modeled great customer care. Dwight called back the following day to ensure that the work that he and his team did met our expectation! The only element of the experience that could have been better was the pricing; it seemed a little high for the work that we wanted done. However, the ability to have one team versus 4 come and complete all of the work was a plus... as well as the aforementioned quick turn around on completing the job.

I purchased a coupon for 3 hours of handyman help for $99. I had a list of 3 small projects. I contacted Mr. Campbell about scheduling an appointment. He was very responsive about getting here to give me an estimate and confirm that the projects could be completed in about 3 hours. I had to order some materials, which I did right away, then let him know the materials had arrived. It took a few weeks for him to get back to complete the list, but that was no problem. Mr. Campbell and the gentleman who worked with him that day were very nice. They completed 2/3 projects in short order. I believe they were here for about 45 minutes. One of the projects we discussed was the replacement of some chimney caps that had blown off of the chimney. The day Mr. Campbell came to work, it was raining so he thought it best not to get out on the metal roof. I thought that was a good decision. Part of the doorbell project was to remove the old doorbell hardware from the door frame and putty and paint the hole it left. Mr. Campbell actually forgot to do that, but was still here when I realized it, and he gladly got out his wood putty (brick red) and smeared it in the hole. As the putty was wet, I was told to allow it to dry, sand it a little, and then give it a coat of white paint. I have confidence in Mr. Campbell's knowledge and skills. He was very nice to work with. I am not happy that I bought a coupon for 3 hours of work, and the work only took about 45 minutes. I have to take responsibility for not lining up more projects, however, I would have thought Mr. Campbell could have told me when he gave me an estimate that the projects on my list did not come close to 3 hours. I am not sure coupons are the way to go.

I purchased the 3 hours of labor deal in the fall of 2012. By the time I was ready to use it, holidays were approaching. This was not a high priority job, so Dwight and I decided to move the work date into the new year. It took us a few weeks to get on the same schedule, but it was worth the wait. Dwight along with his two man team, Mike and Zoel, came on time and were neat and professional. They worked well together and consulted me numerous times to be certain they were doing what I wanted. We did hit a snag with the kitchen window glass shelf as it had to extend a long ways and thus became unstable and likely to break. Since the estimated cost of the piece of tempered glass ( required) was $300+, Dwight and I decided to investigate another way to approach having a window shelf for herbs in the kitchen. I fully expect he will come up with a good alternative. I am grateful he and his team wanted to err on the side of safety rather than just quickly put up a shelf that would be an expensive and dangerous problem in short order. After removing the built in bookshelf dividing the dining room and living room, they expertly pieced the molding and baseboard, fixed the wallboard and painted. They also sanded the floor underneath the removed shelf and filled holes and flattened protruding nails so that my toddler Grandkids would not get injured. The floors will be refinished at a later date. They were amazingly detail oriented. The bathroom accessories were installed level, all holes were patched and painted. It looks like a new bathroom! They left the work areas spotless including cleaning the glass shelves til they sparkled. They even helped me move the dining room table back in place. Because of their attention to detail and professionalism, I awarded Campbell Painting and More the bid to do the exterior paint job on my home this spring. I look forward to having them return.

Excellent. Work was done as discussed. First did some ceiling plaster repair. As it turned out, I had some plumbing problem (drainage) at the time so he looked at it for me. It turned out to be more involved than we thought, but he was very good to keep looking for a solution & brought in help with the problem. There was a little delay to complete the work, but Dwight was very good to keep in touch & let me know what was happening. The help was curteous and answered any questions I had. The mess was kept to a minimum, there was actually very little and he was very conscientious about cleaning up after the work was done. I would highly recommend using Campbell's Painting & More and will definitely use them again.

This is the second time we used Dwight and his family to paint for us. He gave us his estimate right away while he was finishing painting our upstairs. They showed up just as scheduled and worked hard long days to finish a day earlier than expected. They did an awesome job throughout our house. Being very careful when things needed moving and their cleanup was very neat. Before they left Dwight had us walk through the whole house to make sure we were completely satisfied. The painting was excellent, so was working with all the painters. If we ever need painting again I will go straight to Campbell's, no need for other estimates, you get more than your money's worth with Dwight.

The appointment was for 2pm. When I arrived at 1:45 they were already here and had started to work on the exterior projects. They were cheerful, courteous and did everything I asked for. Really couldn't have been more pleased.

Dwight and his crew helped us out with our kitchen remodel. He was really helpful and was willing to listen to each project that we currently have looming. He then gave me future estimates on what steps to take next, I feel like we are on our way to a finished kitchen! We are new to the area so we are happy to have been connected with such a great company that takes such pride in their work.
