 + -1 moreWe paid David Caldwell $4000 in February, which was the deposit (half the total) for our fence. He quoted us 4-6 weeks. 6 weeks passed and we had not heard from him. I called, and WHEN he answered, he gave us excuse after excuse of why he hadn't come to do the work. He finally stopped answering the phone. It is now September 29 and we have never received a fence or a refund. This guy is a theif. Please do not trust him.

 + -1 moreWell, our fence needed a repair, and the owner was initially quick to respond and came out quickly to give an estimate for the repair, $600. He told us he was booked for the rest of the week (this was a Monday) and would be in touch on Friday to set up a plan for the next week to come out and fix it. Friday came and went, as did the next week. We tried calling and left multiple messages. Eventually after about a week, he called back and said they had gotten behind on a job and it would be the next week. After that, almost a month and a half has gone by and we haven't heard anything from him again despite calling and leaving messages. So I honestly have no idea how their work actually is because they didn't bother to show up to do it.

 + -1 more. I'm not certain which of the Caldwells oringinally came to my home and gave me the estimate since I never heard from or talked to him again. The man I did deal with was rude and snide. It remains to be seen if I get my money back but needless to say I would never do "bussiness" with such people again. I will let you know if I get the money back.
Description of Work: Mr Caldwell, owner if the company came to my home on July21, gave an estimate on repairing gates on my existing fence, took half the estimate (600 dollars) left saying it would be a week or two before his company could get to the work. After three weeks, I called and someone said they'd get to it in a another week or so, and August 26th I called again, got a worker who claimed to know nothing about any of it, he would talk to Mr Caldwell and get back to me. At this point I asked for my money back. Today, I still didn't hear back, so I called again, got the same fellow and he said I could come down and pick up money and I said he should bring it to me or mail it. He said he willl mail it Monday. I told hime I was going to report the unprofessional manner in which this had all been handled to the Better Business Bureau and he said "do you want their number? Cause, we don't care, we aren't members anyway"

 + -1 moreThis was a 2 day job done extremely well by four men who really took all precaution and proper measurement to ensure the stability in the fence. We all enjoyed the end project and it looks great.
Description of Work: They installed a fence that was 4 foot high by 80 foot long.
