Description of Work: My wife and I are building a new home and ordered glass block windows in an aluminum frame for entry door sidelights and and 3 larger panels for our master bath. The windows came in wrong from my builders supplier and we would not accept. Not having the glass block windows would delay our project another 4-weeks while new glass block windows were manufactured. My wife and I drove to A.G. Heins in Knoxville to discuss having them make our new glass block sidelights and glass block panels. A.G. Heins told us about Tom Bentley and his work as a glass block mason and suggested that we contact him for an estimate. We did contact Tom Bentley who came to our project and gave us a bid. We also learned that Mr. Bentley performed the glass block work at the Space Needle in Gatlinburg and the Circle Piers for Dr. Mavidon of Knoxville. What wonderful work he does. We contracted Mr. Bentley to construct our glass block work using Pittsburgh Corning Glass. We later learned that if a person contacts Pittsburgh Corning directly for a glass block mason for the Knowville area - Tom Bentley is the name they give out. There is a good reason for this.
