Contracted with them to do a new build residential build in March 2021 and as of January 2023 we fired Mr. Aaron Lehnert and A&M for violation of the contract. They failed to complete the build, failed to pay subcontractors and material suppliers even though the bank paid A&M as build progressed. There were issue with poor quality roof, installation of french doors was 10 inches too far from center of deck, improper framing of stairs, improper framing of downstairs master shower, improper installation of free standing tubs even though plumber pointed out concerns to Mr. Lehnert, improper installation of front porch gables, sloppy drywall, failure to build according to agreed upon blueprints, poor placement of dryer vent & washer supply lines, poor installation of HVAC returns, thermostats, ®isters, and extremely poor waterproofing of house. Additionally, failed to order the correct number of light fixtures. This builder refused to correct most of the issues and was caught taking money for supplies not purchased and work not done. Mr. Lehnert was caught in multiple lies and was very unprofessional in his conduct. This businessman filed bankruptcy because of his failure to properly supervise the builds that were ongoing and poor fiscal skills. Do not hire this individual. Be aware, he also is operating another contracting business under the name of A&M Craftsman Homes (Maryville, Tenn).
Description of Work: New build from start to finish per signed contract.

Roof needed replacing after storm damage. They were prompt to cover the roof with a tarp. The insurance company and the contractor inspected the roof and the insurance company decided to replace the entire roof. The adjuster called me and told me what the check would be I called the contractor and he brought out a contract to sign. The contract was over $2000 more than the insurance company said they were quoted. I was assured that the contract amount was what was approved by the insurance company agreed on. They were quick to start the job and told that it would take 3 or 4 days. We went out of town while the roof was being put on the house. When we came home the job was done. We were assured the property would be cleared of all nails and trash. The contractor came out to get the insurance check. One of my grandkids pointed to a plastic bag next to the garage and told us it contained feces. One of the roofers toke a bucket my wife left outside the garage, placed a bag in it and went out into the woods adjoining the back yard of my property to do his "job" tied the bag and threw the bag next to my house. My wife called the contractor to have the roofers come out pick up the bag and get us a new bucket. We took a magnet aroundf the house and retrieved well over 300 nails. We had to pull roofing waist out of our pool and all over the yard. I then got a bill for over $2000 over what the insurance payed in total. Called the insurance company and was assured they would take care of the problem. Everything seemed to be OK for a few weeks then water stains appeared on the master bedroom ceiling. I called the contractor to have him take a look. He went up in the attic and could not see where it was leaking. He tried to blame it on the attic barrier I had put in months before, holding in moisture and staining the ceiling. I asked why only the bedroom had a stain and he could not answer the question. He said he would contact the insurance company and they should take care of the repair. Why would the insurance company cover a leak from his work. The insurance company sent me a check to cover the painting. I told them to send the check in my name only so I could get my trusted painter instead of the contractors choice. Once again everything seemed to be OK. We pulled the carpet in the bedroom and closet to put hardwood down and in the corner of the closet the floor was wet. We went into the attic and found the leak. This time we placed a bucket under the leak in the attic and took pictures of the underside of the roof. We also took spray paint and painted a circle around the wet spot. The contractor sent his roofing boss out to take a look. He found the problem and the next day they came out to fix the 4 foot strip that caused the leak. Now the ceiling in the bedroom is staining again. Called the contractor to come and take a look and he said he would be out the following week, that was 3 weeks ago. Will this never end. If he finally comes out and agrees the ceiling needs to be painted again he will pay my guy not his to do the job. I have a feeling I will never see him again..... Beware

They were the least expensive of all the quotes that we received, but I still thought they were a little high. There was some damage done on the corner of the roof, but it was barely noticeable. They were pretty easy to work with all in all.
Description of Work: They built a free standing two car garage in my yard. They also poured concrete for our driveway.
