A-Z Painting

Very disappointed in the work that was done. They showed up Thursday morning like discussed and they were finished in a couple of hours. They did not use any tape or plastic to protect the surrounding areas. We found a couple of mistakes when they were finished and they tried to fix them. Later that day when we had time to inspect in greater detail, we seen a huge amount of mistakes. Just about all of the cut in areas, you can see the old paint as well as the new paint on the trim and baseboards. There is paint on just about every surface in the areas that had walls painted. We called them and let them know of this and was told they would have someone out here on Saturday morning but no one should up. We called and were told they would not be able to make it and someone would be here first thing Monday morning. But once again no one showed. So I called Mr. Miller and once again explained all the mistakes and I was told we only paid for one coat and we would be charged to fix all the mistakes they made. There is paint on the floors, doors, trim, baseboards, sinks, mirrors, ceiling, carpet, crown molding, and railing......Needless to say we are highly upset with the money we waisted and the time we will have to spend to fix this considering that is the whole reason we paid to have it done in the first place. I have included pictures of some of the mistakes but there is more then what is pictured sadly

The very day I called to get an estimate, Martin the owner came out. He is a very nice man. He quoted us a fair price and started shortly with our job. He made sure we were happy with the results and said we could call him if we saw anything that needed to be touched up. We would definitely recommend them to our family and friends!

Martin is very friendly and has over 20 years of painting experience. I had two other quotes and in both instances the painters wanted to spray the house. They also tried to convince me one coat of paint would be sufficient. Martin's quote was nearly half the other two painters price and it was for rolling the house with two coats. Warren showed up on time with a crew and finished the job on time. I don't know how Martin can do the work he does for the price but he's been in business for twenty years so hew knows. I can't recommend Martin and his crew highly enough.

I contacted Martin on June 5th and he provided an estimate the same day and said that, because of the likelihood of rain delaying all his outside jobs, he could start the very next day. With 4 people they completed the job in 1.1/2 days painting all surfaces in 6 rooms totaling about 1300 sq ft. They didn't prep the walls either through washing or sanding. There are still some uneven areas on some of the walls and their filling was not particularly good. At least one door was left unpainted and if you want them to paint the inside of a door you'll have to do it yourself. There are a number of wall areas where the paint is not smooth and homogeneous. While they used drop cloths, they didn't cover the whole area preferring to move the cloths as they went. That actually resulted in some paint splatter on horizontal surfaces. They cleaned most of them but not all and I had to finish the job once they had gone. I think that the price was good and they were very fast but had they prepped properly the job would have taken nearly twice as long. I would have been prepared to pay more and will certainly go elsewhere next time to get a first rate job.

I was preparing to sell my house and needed to repaint the interior but I didn't have time to do it myself. I called Martin and he gave me a fair estimate, so I decided to let him take care of it for me. Martin and his crew were very professional. The job was completed in only a couple of days. Highly recommended!

It was fine. They did a good job. It was the owner of the company himself and two people working with him. He comes to every job and does work along with them. He checks everything and helps them do a good job. He is with them the whole time. He's just a very pleasant person and makes sure that they do a good job. It's just been a month and its good enough. Actually they were earlier than they said.

Mr. Miller was very professional and helpful from beginning to end. I had originally planned to paint the inside myself but they did such a good and fast job on the outside I just went ahead and had them do inside as well. He even helped me choose the best colors for the house I was redoing. When I found a couple of spots that were missed he came back right away and touched it up. I would definitely use them again. I had called two other painters in the area and one never showed up and the other one came to give me an estimate but never sent it to me.

Let me start with this was NOT my 1st estimate. Mr Miller came on a Saturday (on time) to give me an estimate. It was in line with what I thought was appropriate. He and two other painters came as scheduled (on time again). Due to the dry wall repair they had to come back the next day to finish. I was pleased but Mr. Miller thought the ceiling needed another coat of paint, they completed that quickly. They moved the furniture, placed it back and cleaned up when they were done. Since I am afraid of heights and they had their tall ladder Mr. Miller also cleaned the huge window in the foyer. They were professional, friendly and dependable. I am very pleased with the results. I usually do my own painting but I WILL call them again.

They do excellent work. They are phenomenal, and their work is detailed. They guaranteed their work and I was satisfied. They were reasonably priced and on budget. I was so pleased I paid them a bonus.
