We received this company's contact information from our contractor. We needed bedroom windows repaired...the seal was broken and moisture was collecting between the double panes. We contacted them in July and still have not heard from them...it is now October 22. Not sure why they didn't return our call...won't call them for anything else!
Description of Work: Took a message to return our call.

I took the screens to 3T Glass in late October 2011. They said they'd call me as soon as soon as they were ready, they needed about 3 days. After a week I called, they said it would be another week. I waited 2 weeks and called, they said it would be a week. I waited a month, they said it would be a week. Many, many calls like this; they said they were having a difficult time finding the matching screen. In January 2012 no progress. I drove to their shop and took other screens from the back of the house that they could use to narrow the one screen so that it would be a closer match, and an inexact match color screen could be located on the back of the home; they weren't interested in this approach. In late February, 2012 no progress. I know it was a small job, but lots of their work must be small jobs. They should be able to fit it in somewhere in their schedule in six months, even with the storm damage repair surge. In almost 6 months of waiting, they never called to update status, explain delays or for any other purpose. I finally decided that I would just go pick up the screens and have them repaired elsewhere. There is only so much patience a person can have, and I believe I went waaaay beyond reasonable in allowing them latitude to accomplish the work. When I called in late March, they said screen was ordered and they would call me in a week when the work was done. After 3 weeks, in mid April I called and was told the screens were finished, sitting there waiting on me. FINALLY! So I drove to their location to pick up the repaired screens. Immediately I noticed that the screens had kinks every 2 inches down the all the way down the center of the screen (where obviously the rolled aluminum screen had been bent before it was unrolled). This was TOTALLY UNPROFESSIONAL! Why on earth would a reputable company make a repair in this fashion after making a client wait 6 months for window screen repair. There were also permanent dent marks where other screens or windows had been slid along side mine as they sat in the pile waiting for me to pick them up. Next I noticed that the screen to be narrowed had not been narrowed. I even had a sticker on the screen frame indicating the new-intended size that was still there. Then I noticed that the corner inserts they had used were not the proprietary Andersen size, they were too small and the window screens were very flimsy.. The man in the office who I believe was Duane Turney, said there would be no charge, just take the screens. I did. The color of screen didn't match either. I took the screens home and narrowed the one screen myself (I'm pretty handy) but had to pop-rivet a steel angle brace to the screen in place of the undersized corner insert 3T Glass used. I put these on the back of the house so the differences wouldn't be as noticeable. I've given the worst ratings possible, but they deserve worse than lousy. I don't do this lightly; they were truly horrible. Fortunately this was just for window screens and these folks aren't general contractors; I'd never let them on my property. The above description is accurate although a brief description of my dealings with them. I'll never go back. I tell everyone of the horrible way they did business. Please be warned to be beware or stay away from this unprofessional company. This is an accurate description of my experience, yours may be different (I certainly hope it is better). They must do some jobs properly or they wouldn't stay in business. Angie's List didn't have a review on this company, so I thought I'd post my experience so other members can be advised.
Description of Work: I had two window screens that needed re-screening (one that also needed to be narrowed) for Andersen Windows in my home. Andersen uses proprietary sizes and components, 3T Glass was recommended as having the Andersen components and equipment to successfully re-screen the frames using aluminum screen similar to existing. I had broken one of the corner inserts during handling, they said they had the Andersen replacement parts. I was quoted a fair price and told that it would take about 3 days if I brought the screens to them.
