Carden Gutters

We called 4 different roofing companies in our area and had 3 of them actually show up to give an estimate for installing a metal roof on our house. All 3 companies were licensed and insured and their estimates came within only a couple hundred dollars of the others. After researching all of them on BBB, Angies List and with personal friends, we chose to work with Carden Guttering even though their estimate cost was in the middle of the other two. We asked for and received in the mail, very quickly, a copy of their proof of insurance (including general liability and workers comp) directly from the insurance company they use. The weather here in February is rather rainy and cold, but they showed up to start the job when they promised. The first day they waited until the rain stopped, so they came around lunch time. The next morning they were here bright and early, worked all day and came back the next morning to finish up the job. They did everything we asked them to do. All employees were helpful, friendly, professional and really knew what they were doing. We have an older house, that wasn't built to square, which posed a challenge for them, but they worked it out and it looks great! When the job was completed, I asked for and received a written warranty for workmanship and the warranty information from the local metal company that they used to provide the materials for the job. I would not hestitate to hire this company again in the future.

They answered my call and came by on the same day we called to provide us with the estimate. The product was equal to the other companies we had called and they had about 40 different colors to match with house/metal roofing. Their estimate was about half of what the other people had quoted us and they were able to get the job started quickly. They even nailed down some nails that were coming up on the metal roof. They shared that the only do gutter work and they don't have the overhead that many of the other companies have. They're more of a family owned and operated business. Everyone we spoke with or who did the work on the house were friendly, knowledgeable and courteous. They did a good job of cleaning up after the job, also, and the actual bill came in under their original estimate. How often does that happen? We had a good experience with this company. The only reason I marked them under on responsiveness is because I had to write them to get the warranty information, and I have not received it yet, but I don't anticipate any problems.
