John came out on a Sunday evening for an estimate on a smaller project. Very responsive and knowledgeable, answered all of my questions and got the job done exactly as described. Highly customer focused to get the job done around my schedule. Wood Pecker Builders will be my first choice for any carpentry project in the future.

Going from wood to composite on 2 decks that are 32 years old would always be challenging. John had the experience and skills to turn the old rotting decks into decks that look beautiful. After waiting 4 weeks for the material there was a problem. The composite supplier made a major error in the composite board types that would have delayed the finishing. John quickly found a supplier that had the required material and the work continued on plan. John also worked with the original supplier to get a full refund for all the wrong material. John is customer focused and I would hire him again.

John is prompt at responding, very detail oriented and great at assessing what is needed and then delivering those results! He is customer oriented and a pleasure to do business with. We will use his company again for our next deck project!

They came earlier than expected, which was great for us, and finished in a timely fashion. There were a few minor hiccups but John and crew were quick to make things right.

John is straight-forward, competent, friendly, and easy to work with. He and his colleague did good work in an efficient fashion. They did just what they said they'd do for us just as they described. The only little hiccup was the short notice and changes on when they'd work and during what time of day, but the work was started and done well before the estimated timeframe.

Deck railing replacement was done well. Power washing and deck staining was good and deck surface finish is holding up well. Rainy weather delayed project completion for a couple of weeks, but patience is a virtue if you want the job done right. John did a great job.

John is a special person. He is my guardian angel of carpentry and staining our deck. Our deck looks new again. A few things left to do but once their done I'll be in my heaven. I have already lined up another job for John which is part of the ceiling in our garage which is coming down. John has done so many extra things for ne which I am eternally grateful. John did great work power washing our patio. I was impressed with how completely he removed the dirt and debris and how quickly he got the job done. Give John a try, you won't be disappointed.

Professional and friendly input to best approach repairs/projects anticipated. We are very pleased with deck repairs, mailbox and window well cover install. Will hire again for next project in the works.
