John (owner) was a pleasure to deal with. He gave me an estimate (very reasonable) within a few days, and completed installing wider shed doors (so I could get my wide zero turn mower - ZTM - inside) in about half a day. Total time from when I first contacted him and to when he did the job was about 2 weeks. Can't beat that. Two other businesses I had contacted previously to do the job came, made estimates, and then never showed up. He worked quickly and purposefully, and the workmanship was excellent. I highly recommend Woodpecker Builders..

During this pandemic and doing work in a condo bldg where everyone is over 65, he wasnâ t wearing a mask. Since he needed to come back twice because the replacement door needed lock adjustments and gap adjustments, I finally gave him a mask to keep on during the last visit.

I contacted John to came over and fix a corner piece of my deck and flip over a bad deck board put in by another contractor. He came over and fixed the problems and didn't even charge me, Now to me that's great customer service! I've already hired him to come back in the Spring to wash and seal my deck, as winter came a little early this year halting the project. Can't wait till Spring. Thanks John see you spring 2020

John is very responsive and attentive. Fixed our leaky balcony and mailbox. Will be having him come back to work out our decks in summer and will be asking him for other issues around the home. Punctual and respectful, very happy with his team.

We have a small raised deck off back of our townhome that has needed some serious TLC for several years. John and team were great and reassured us several timesit did not need to be fully rebuilt - just floor boards and railing - the foundation is solid. And they were able to move up the schedule and get it done much earlier than originally planned. They will come back in spring for powerwashing and sealing. And we already talked about other potential projects around our house. Thanks.

John does what he says he s going to do, he shows up when he says he will, and he charges a competitive rate and sticks to the agreed terms. On top of that, he does quality work. In Naperville, I have often found it extremely difficult to find contractors that are able to do these basics, which can be extremely frustrating, as like most working professionals with a family, I don t have time and energy to waste. With his professionalism, I have not had to deal with any issues. Would recommend him to my neighbors without hesitation.

The town in which I live is very strict with permitting and John had to work hard to get everything approved. End product is amazing!
