 + -1 moreTC was very honest and upfront about all costs. They provided a complete estimate at the beginning and were flexible with us adding things in as we went. We have never seen such a clean worksite! Their level of professionalism exceeds anything we've ever experienced. The contractor and business owner, Wade Townsend, was seemingly everywhere at once, demanding perfection. He is very knowledgeable about his craft and he actually listened to what we had to say and added ideas when they were solicited. A more easy-going and honest contractor would be impossible to find.
Description of Work: Townsend Construction was hired to add-on and remodel a plain ranch style brick home built in the 70's. in the end, TC did so much more than that. They made suggestions, put our vision of what we wanted into reality. The house turned out like a dream. The add-on is seamless and the house now looks completely different. They added a family room, a two 1/2 car garage, a.new entry way, a laundry room, bathroom, all hardwood floors, ceramic tile, remodeled the old kitchen, adding cabinetry, granite countertops and doubling the size. They added a beautiful fireplace and hand hewn mantle. Refinished all old ceilings with California Knockdown style. They added 7 windows to the house, beautiful! My favorite things that they did are a new 30'x10' covered porch on the front with huge post and beam drama. The post and beam accent continues into our family room/kitchen. TC poured the new concrete porches and contoured driveway.

 + -1 moreFrom start to finish, communication was outstanding. We had never worked with such professional builders. The job site was always neat and organized. Their quality of workmanship was worth every penny. It is extremely nice to work with a company and group of men with such a solid work ethic, especially the contractor, Wade Townsend. We could not believe the facelift he and his company carried out. We couldn't be happier with our and quot;newand quot; home.
Description of Work: Townsend Construction added a finished family room,a two car garage,laundry room, new entry way, covered front porch and fireplace to an older ranch style home. They put down hardwood floors,ceramic tile floors and added new cabinetry. They replaced an old narrow staircase with beautiful wide hardwood stairs, suitable for a lift chair if ever desired.
