Green Heating & Air

Our HVAC was leaking beginning of June/2023. It's only a year and a half old system. Warranty was only 1 yr. They sent out a technician that same day. He never diagnosed an issue but he thought maybe it was condensation build up. So he worked on it. It still leaked when he left but he informed us it still would but it would go away. It didn't. So we called again. The same technician came out. This time he thought drilling holes in our system and placing piping on the side would help with that. It is not. It still leaked. Never got better. Then we called again. This time they sent out a different technician. He tweaked this and that, but still no diagnosis. He did patch work and said ok you're all set. Sadly no. So we called again, this time the owner's brother was sent out. He saw that the piping that was installed was never sealed. He informed us that it was possible first technician had drilled a hole in our pan! So he said we will order you a new pan. It will be here in a week. Well now our A/C does not cool our house, at all! It blows hot air, still leaks, and now they have ghosted us. Never got the new pan they ordered. This company is run by cowards. All they do is botch up your system and hide. If anyone has had a great service by these cowards, consider yourself lucky. Seriously, I'm a little envious. Future buyers beware, this is not a good company. Thank goodness another company is going clean up their mess.

Same situation as another reviewer. Called and spoke with Jeff Green. He said he would be out late today or early tomorrow. He didn’t show either day. Tried to contact and got voice mail. Texted and asked when he could come he said if I was needing a quick response to call someone else. So I did. Tried again for a business that Green did the install on and got the same “I’ll either come late today or early tomorrow“ that was two days ago. Left a message and haven’t heard from him. Since it is supposedly a unit under warranty I am wanting them to look into the problem.

Green Heat and Air is a certified Carrier dealer and identified that the compressor in the Carrier heat pump unit had locked up. As a result, the heat pump needed to be replaced, as replacing just the compressor was not cost effective. In estimating the replacement options, Green identified that the indoor furnace was over 15 years old and it would be less expensive to replace the furnace at the same time as the heat pump instead of replacing it separately in the next 5 to 10 years. I was given estimates for replacing just the heat pump and for replacing both units. The furnace that they quoted was a 90+ efficiency gas fueled furnace which vented via PVC pipe. When I inquired if I should invest in a higher efficiency heat pump, the owner recommended that i not upgrade, as the monthly energy saving would be minimal (~ $15/20/month) and it would take over 10+ years to re-cope the higher purchase cost. The crew installed both systems within 4 hours and hauled away the old units. The finished result, is that I now have an energy efficient dual fuel system, which utilizes the gas furnace for 'emergency heat' should the heat pump not be able to create enough heat when the temperature gets down to 32 degrees. I will only use Green Heat and Air in the future.

A lot of heat and air places are high for there hourly stuff. We just had a minor thing to fix.

They are local. They show up on time. They clean their mess up. They deliver everything they tell me they're gonna do.

Their responsiveness, punctuality, professionalism is lousy. They never return calls or show up for scheduled appointments. Technicians appearance looked like they haven't showered for days and smelled. Will never use them again!
