After giving it some thought I thought it was best because in his e mail I'll attach he said he'd get to it when he got to it! I know I was mad and upset but all he would have had to do was e mail me and let me know he didn't get to it the week of the 13-20th but he had no communication with me what so ever...after my two e mails I went to his shop and then knew why he didn't respond to my e mails because he had not done anything too it. I was very upset because I knew this week 12-23 was Christmas week and likely he wouldn't get to it and get it finished. I did send him the email that I'd be there on Monday Dec 23rd at 10am to pick up the Loveseat. We arrived at a few minutes after 10am Central to find our loveseat sitting out in the middle of his parking lot. I was floored, what business man would do a thing like that even if you have a unhappy customer. When I went to the door to find out why he did that he was in there and I knocked on the glass and he said CAN'T YOU READ THE SIGN WE ARE CLOSED" I asked him why he put our loveseat out in the middle of his lot and he said if I didn't leave he was going to call the police...I told him to go ahead and left the door and went to where my husband and his son were loading up the loveseat into the trailer. With all this being said I would not recommend this man for either upholstery or taxes because if you are an unhappy customer it's hard to say what he would do. This time of year I am really swamped and was trying to work you in. Things happen. I have not been able to start on it yet this week because of a lot of issues. I had planned to take time away from my son tomorrow & Sunday to get your sofa ready. That was before you made a visit today. I think that the fact I worked you in and allowed you to bring in so close to the end of the season was nice of me, which I DO NOT think I deserved your comments saying you would bad mouth me. I get really tired of going out of my way to help people only to be abused. If you want me to fix your sofa I still will. I will get to it when I get to it. However, since you already are planning to bad mouth me, I would rather you just come get it. I will be in the shop some Monday. You are welcome to come then. YOu can send your husband, but as I told you when he brought it I normally get in between 9 and 10. That means there is no need for him to get here before then and call my voice mail leaving a rude message as he did when he brought it because I am not here.
