LEWISBURG GARDEN CTR

Lewisburg Garden Center overcharged us by $1,000.00 in the final bill compared the estimate. They never called prior to arriving to our house to perform work. The business was very evasive and obstinate when asked to provide an itemized estimate and a reference list prior to doing any work. The workers who came out to do the work had adversarial attitudes and were rude. When asked simple questions such as approximately how long they would be on site and what they were going to accomplish they informed me (with a disrespectful tone) they did not know. They were not supervised until I complained to the owner., and that took over a month. The job should have been completed in a few weeks took them 3 months. All the while I had to call them to obtain an update as to when they would be finished. The owner had nothing but lame excuses why the job was delayed (family sick, he couldn?t control what his suppliers did, ect). I would not have had an issue with Lewisburg Garden Center if they would have keep me updated as to the status of the job and not played a shell game with the estimate and then gouged me for a 25% markup on the final bill. A phone call to me from them every other week to keep me updated as to their progress with an estimated date of completion, workers who have basic manners and are supervised are reasonable customer expectations. If I wanted to supervise workers I could just hire personnel from a temp agency and supervise them myself and save money. Also an accurate estimate is NOT too much for a customer expect. Overall a terrible expedience. I suggest hiring someone else, or doing the work yourself, and avoiding the Lewisburg Garden Center.
