L & S Design

We hired Larry to draw out our dream home. He was punctual, professional, and very talented at what he does. He came back weekly to show us his progress until my husband and I were completely satisfied with what we saw. He explained his pricing clearly and we paid him. He told us if we had any questions or needed anything he was more than happy to help. He also provided supplementary material to help us with the building process. We consider him a friend now.

I was very pleased with the level of interest, involvement and valuable input from Larry. Always punctual and did what he said.

We were very pleased to work with Larry and would highly recommend him. We had a general idea of what we wanted in our room addition, but he helped us thoroughly think through various options, offered suggestions and great ideas utilizing his valuable construction knowledge. He was patient as we changed our minds and helped us get to a great place with our final drawings. He was always punctual for appointments and delivered upon what he promised. We would definitely use him again.

Mr. George was wonderful to work with. He met with us weekly to go over our plans and make any and all changes we requested to the house. It was a very relaxed and easy process and Mr. George was exceedingly accommodating and patient with us. In the end the plans were even better than we could have imagined. We would recommend him to anyone looking to build a home and will miss working with him.

From the fill, compaction, to the footings and construction went extremely well and was completed in less time than I had hoped for.

Larry was such a pleasure to work with. He was very prompt and was always available by phone. He drew and initial plan and from that we could make changes. He didn't charge anything extra for the changes. He was very thorough and precise and does amazing work. We enjoyed having him in our home and valued his opinion and input! It was also nice just talking to him about life in general. All around a wonderful man! We HIGHLY recommend him!

Larry was unbelievably easy to work with. He likes what he does and listens to what YOU want. We will definitely work with him on future projects. He is extremely responsive and does really good work.

The design project went very well. Larry is a real pleasure to work with. He understood what we wanted, offered suggestions, was always prompt when we met and completed the plans at the time he said he would. We needed extra copies and he even delivered them in person. We highly recommend Larry for any design work you might need.

Things were much easier this time around as Larry already knew what we were looking for, though a second bedroom and bath was added. But, he had a great understanding of where we were going with the design and he only had to make a couple of updates. New sets of blueprints were provided just as they were the first time and Larry did not charge full price because he was able to use some of his earlier work. We have not started the construction yet but hope to start in the next week or so. Once again we were completely satisfied and would not hesitate to work with Larry again. (If you're reading this Larry, don't panic---mom is not allowed to change her mind again! 🙊 We have really enjoyed working with you.)

The entire process went well. He worked with our needs and schedule and prepared a thorough set of construction drawings for our custom home (approx 4,000 square feet).

The owner came out, took dimensions of the existing house, went through the house and we explained what we wanted, he made some very valuable suggestions, within a week he had the preliminary drawings. He went over them with us, and just a few minor changes. The project was started a month later. The drawings were complete, plumbing, electrical and structure with all the specifications. During the construction he came out several times to ensure the project was completed to his specifications. The addition turned out great. We then sold the house so i did not get pictures. He was very professional, detailed, and was able to understand how we wanted it to look. Extremely satisfied. I will call on him in the future.

we did have to get with Larry quite often to make changes but he was always happy to do what ever we asked. Great to work with. We were very pleased!

Larry was a true professional! He sat down with my husband and I and listened to our thoughts and ideas of how we thought the room could be achieved. He then brainstormed with us and added his concerns and ideas. Larry then took pictures of the area we planned for the addition and told us he'd get back to us soon (Haha! we all know how that goes!), but...Within a week Larry was not only back with an estimate but with the design and plans all printed out! We gave him the go a head and in just a few weeks we were starting the process. Larry checked in with the workers everyday to make sure everything was going as planned...which leads me to today, we absolutely love our Wet bar! The access from the pool area really helps out with traffic in the home during parties, not to mention it is gorgeous on the inside as well as out! The room has added so much to our home...we love it! Larry listened to us and executed what he heard into a gorgeous room!

Larry had been recommended by a coworker of my husband's. Larry was very responsive and willing to work with us from overseas as we were stationed in Germany at the time. We worked over email and the phone exclusively. The professionalism Larry showed throughout was great - very responsive, very timely. Larry also understood that he was designing a building that would not be in the area he was and was going to be built in a different manner than his local area due to the weather issues of the area we are building - Oklahoma. I can't recommend L&S Design enough. The quality of the work is superb, professionalism, responsiveness, and timeliness was unparalleled.

Once our builders received Larry's blueprints, they were able to follow them with ease. On the two occasions that additional clarification was needed, Larry responded back to them right away. On time, in time and with a reasonable price is what L & S Design is all about. At L & S Design they are old school: they are attentive to your needs, get back to right away and over-deliver in providing great value on the investment.

Larry met with me and began with some sketches and drawings that I had started. He went uptown to get information on all the applicable codes and requirements, then came back and we measured the setbacks so that he would have all the correct information for his drawings. As part of the design process, he also met with the contractor multiple times to make sure they agreed on the best and most cost efficient way to build the addition. With the final approved drawings in hand, the contractor was able to generate an accurate quote. The drawings gave the contractor all the information he needed to price the demolition, foundation, electrical, framing, flooring, roofing, etc.,. They gave my wife and I a really accurate view of what we were buying.The drawings were also all the city needed to permit all the work that had to be done. Now that the job is complete, you can tell that the addition was well planned because it doesn't look like something that was an afterthought. If you didn't know the history of the house, you would think it always been that way. I'm very glad we went with Larry, and would do it again if we had additional drawing needs.
