It went well for the most part. They did a decent job. They weren't always as prompt as expected. Their price for labor was good.

The whole experience was excellent! The professionalism by everyone was very appreciated! They are meticulous with the details and make sure you are involved with all parts of the remodel!!!! I would recommend Son Set Management for any job you are wanting done! We plan on using their expertise in the future 👍🏼

It was awesome! Hard to believe that having a roof repaired and replaced was awesome, but it was. They worked carefully, but efficiently and were all very courteous and pleasant to converse with . . . good character prevailed through the work crew. We even had a neighbor come over after the fact to say how impressed he was with the speed, efficiency, and quality of the work.

Son Rise has done several things to my house, the biggest being removal of a wall and installation of a beam. They did outstanding work and actually put in extra effort finishing up with all the minor details. Would recommend them for your project.

I’ve know the owner for over 40 years. I contacted them for an emergency drywall repair. Sonny responded the same day, and sent one of his workers who completed the job same day. The repairs looked like new! If you want honesty and a fair price for quality work, contact Son Rise Construction!

During the bid face we asked Sonny to include in his bid, all materials that would be necesary to complete and finish the installation of the sliding glass door. He agreed and provided us with a price of $3500. We accepted and work began on October 27th, 2014. Sonny failed to mention to us during the bid and contract phase that he ran a sober house and that the people who would be working on our house were members of said sober house and that they had been clean for only 30-90 days. I am not saying that this would have swayed my decision to hire Sonny, but I felt that it was something that should have been disclosed. On the first day of construction two of Sonny's sober house members came to install the sliding glass door. The installation of the door required brick to be cut. Sonny's workers did not seal off the room they worked in causing brick dust to spread to evey inch of the house. We had pieces of furniture and other items that were completely ruined. It cost me $50 and countless hours cleaning up this mess. I also had a dry cleaning bill of $120 for all the clothing that was covered in brick dust. Additionally, Sonny allowed one of his workers to do electrical work in the house with no experience. This worker ended up routing the 220 volt dryer electrical to a standard outlet causing our dryer to not work properly. Sonny brought in an actual electrician (who we paid out of pocket) to fix his workers mess up. The electrician told us that we were lucky our home didnt burn down. In the bathroom, Sonny's workers were not able to fish the drain stop out and didnt try to fix it so now our tub drain does not work. The tub surround that we purchased was mis-measured and mis-cut by Sonny's workers and had to be replaced. The tile job is ok but in some places the cuts are off and the tiles do not meet the wall. These tiles are going to have to be removed and recut and replaced. The caulcking around the tub and toilet looks as though a 5 years old did it. When the work was complete, Sonny tried to charge us for various tools that he had purchased as well as the replacement tub surround, and the materials to complete the doors. Some of the items he tried to charge us for included: a triple lever drain (remember, the drain doesnt work), tape, a saw blade, kneepads, a drywall saw, a drill bit, a trowell, A HAMMER!!! I dont know about you, but when I hire someone to do remodeling work I would assume they had a hammer. I would also assume they had the skills, knowledge, experience, and TOOLS to do the job. I would seriously not reccomend sonny to build a wooden box. His workers are completely clueless and unsupervised and his craftsmanship is shotty at BEST. The work that was done has so many problems that we literally are going to be redoing work we paid $3500 for. Do yourself a favor and DO NOT HIRE HIM!!!!
