Description of Work: Trimming my shrub weeds, cutting my grass.

Description of Work: OVERALL RATING: C- | |We hired this co to maintain our lawn by cutting and trimming on a weekly basis. It's really that simple, nothing complicated. | |The positives are that when they showed up they did a respectable, adequate job. They were pleasant people. | |The negatives are that they were very non-responsive to messages and often did not show up as scheduled. | |We've engaged their services for about 10 months. Things seemed to start out okay. However, they deteriorated over the course of time getting to the point of just not responding or showing up at all. | |In late March/early April, we contacted them to do some other landscaping work involving planting trees and plant beds. We left a couple different messages and got absolutely no response at all. So, after 3 weeks of waiting without response, we finally purchased the plants & trees ourselves and simply completed the work ourselves in a weekend. | |Then, by end of April, we finally had enough after leaving a couple messages including a text message that our grass needed cutting since it had been nearly 2 weeks. But we got zero response and at the end of 2 weeks, our grass looked like a jungle with some parts as long as 12+ inches. We just could not wait any longer, nor were we confident that we would ever get a response. So unprofessional. | |The delayed grass cutting, missing promised dates and extremely poor communication just simply got to be too much so we let them go. | |If they no longer wanted to do the lawn maintenance work, had too many customers or needed to increase their rates, they simply should have contacted us to let us know. It's so completely unacceptable and unprofessional to simply not call a customer within 24 hours of their message and to simply not meet your promise to service an account. | |I personally would not hire them again because my experience was they were completely unreliable and non-existent communication especially for such a simply service.
