Work was very good and the workers had a real knack for their trade. Very professional and something you don't see a lot of is they only took care of what they knew best. You get these jack of all trade guys and they are only good at one thing but try to tackle other work outside their spectrum and wind up doing worse or not doing it well. Had a problem with my initial appointment where i stayed home waiting for my window but no one showed and no one called. I called the office and spoke to a woman who apologized and put me on hold. She noted that there was indeed a screw up on their end and told me that she would get back to me and let me know of another day they can come out. I waited all week and her nothing and knew nothing until the next Monday when i received a call and a lady told me I have an appointment the following day. I was taken by surprise and had to clear my day with no real notice. I believe the owner came by and was apologetic and was very courteous and polite. The little things don't really hinder on the professionalism of the work. I would hire again if needed. Thank you.

Overall work requested was completed within the 6hr timeframe of the special offered on Angies List at $249.00. An "upcharge" was applied (20%) on top of the supplies they needed to purchase for the job, I had purchased some of the supplies on my own. I would suggest that Angies List make these companies add this to the contract language (20% upcharge) so there are no surprises in the future and anyone that purchases these "specials" know there will be additional cost.

Folks did excellent job, matched the other work perfectly andtook the time to cover things in the work area and cleaned up very thoroughly before they left

Unfortunately the earliest appointment they had was several weeks away. But, that was fine. On the day of the appointment we had not heard anything halfway through our time slot, so I called the office. They were very nice, but they explained that they had had some turnover and our appointment was not on their schedule. They were able to get someone out there an hour after our time window, and that person was able to fix all of our door issues (originally it was just going to be a quote visit, but they went ahead and did the work). Despite the issues with the schedule, I would use them again due to their customer service to make it right.

The installers and painters were professional and it looks great.

G&B had to work around some rainy days but finished the job in 2 days.

Once I finally got someone out here to work, they did great. He was very knowledgeable and quick about his work.

I purchased one of the deals online. I was contacted a few days later to set up time for a consult for two weeks from now. I reached out to let them know I did not require a consult; I know what needs to be done. I was contacted today (6/7/17) and told they would not be able to get to me until July 5th at earliest. I reached out to member services and got a refund. I cannot wait that long to repair the ceiling over the breakfast nook. That is why I would not hire. However, good for them that they are booked out that far in advance.

It didn't! On May 26 we contacted Angie's List and received confirmation of payment that same day (a $99 dollar promotional fee for 2 hours of work to be performed). We initiated contact with Kathy at G & B the same day. On May 30 we again contacted Kathy who stated that she would coordinate the work. We talked to Marilyn on June 1 and were told that the work would be done on June 2. Thirty minutes before the scheduled time it was cancelled. We again called on June 5th. Late in the day we were left a message that they might be able to fit us in June 8 or 9.

They were prompt and very friendly and appeared to want to do a good job, however, one wall that they were repairing seemed to bubble up in a couple of places and ended up looking really bad. Rather than cut out the bubbled area and repatch it (which is what I had to do myself later), he just kept trying to smooth it down with more joint compound...did not work. Also the dryer they were using to dry the joint compound faster quit working, so I ended up paying $50/hr for someone to listen to music while watching the joint compound dry. Not a deal that I will invest in again, even though I have more drywall to be repaired in my garage. Ended up costing me $300 over the original $199. I am happy with the look of part of the repairs, just not all of it. Thankfully, that part is in a closet, so not really seen much.

They have done several jobs for me. They are a good company. They did a good job. The guy that did it was very knowledgeable. All of the joints were tight, and he knew what he was doing. It was not a real easy project there were a lot of things that needed to be fitted. He cleaned up real well. I took suggestions. He was really good about if I asked him to do something a certain way he had no problem with that. They were just generally good to work with. They were a good company. I did not have any problems. They are real laid back kind of company but they are very responsible and communicative. They act like good old boys but they are professional. I would use them again. They do good work. Whenever you call in the owner comes out and assess the job themselves and puts his crew on it. They don't just send anyone out they put the person on it for the job. These people are very good.

Some squirrels had gotten into my wall and chewed the wiring. I had another contractor come to do the electrical work and when he got done they came in and did the drywall repair. I have not had anyone from Angie's list that I would not had come back. A's all the way. Basically he is a really great guy. I would use them again. I would like to I am just waiting on the money to do it.

Although it was somewhat difficult scheduling an appointment with G&B Carpentry (the online scheduling provided by Angie's List was not relevant, and it took almost a month to schedule service), the work performed by G&B was courteous, professional and exceptional. The doors were quickly fixed, and the contractor even caulked one of my exterior doors for me as complementary service. If G&B could schedule online (or even keep with their promises of over-the-phone scheduling), I would gladly give G&B an A+! As it stands though, I have to dock a grade for scheduling.

This is simply the best service I have ever used. Showed up early, fixed my sticking doors repaired window frames, replaced window pane. All within the two hours special Recommend highly

Excellent job! This is the second time I have used these folks and they are top notch!

Very professional. Looked like a father/daughter team, but not certain. Older gentleman did not speak much English but did a great job on the project. The two of them worked great as a team, covering all floors/counters in the area they were working, sanding the joints and cleaning up afterwards. Would definitely recommend for this type of work.

Lamar and Casie were great to work with. They answered all my questions and ensured work was completed to customer's satisfaction. I would definitely hire them again and plan to work with them on future remodel projects.

Backsplash installers were messy left trash in garage. Never could get them back out to seal the grout. Mirrors were not hung evenly. Only one side need to be rehung, but never could get them back out to rehang it. Had to call the project manager out to correct a couple of areas that the backsplash installers did not do and to haul off trash. I was told a couple of times to leave my key under the mat because the project manager, Casey, would be out, but he was always a "no show". I finally got tired of fooling with them and told them to forget it because I did not like leaving my key under the mat everyday with my security system turned off; they never responded.

Ok except for fact he left before job completed. He was called by boss to another job. No follow up to schedule completion. He did complete # of hours we paid for.

Initially had to reschedule several times due to backlog on their side but they were friendly and apologetic about it. Ordered window repair package but the gentleman was not familiar with our wooden frame windows and was unable to complete the repair. Brooke at the office was very friendly and understanding and allowed us to take time to determine what we wanted to use the time for instead. Ultimately we got several projects done, just not what we originally wanted. Overall very recommended.

They never returned emails to even give me a quote. Emails were sent via Angies List, but to no avail.

They have never called or shown up.

Good, two front triple brick framed windows and 2nd floor bonus room windows re-caulked. Work was excellent, but overall $149 for window caulking for 2 people for hour and a half is high and not a break in price as I found out regular price is $50 hour per worker. Did not hire a plumber or electrician ir even a carpenter. Will perform that work myself in the future.
