ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!!! For 10 years, I have had a super sticky back door. Like I had to hold it with 2 hands and really pull to get it to open. Now, my doors seal perfectly and are all easy to open! I almost fell over the first time I opened it after they came out because I was so used to using extreme force. I can't remember the master carpenter's name, but he's amazing! - I called him the "Door Whisperer"!!! I tried to have all materials here, but he needed to go to Home Depot and got everything that he likes to use. And it was incredible the difference. He also cut out the small sections of rotted wood and replace them. Everything looks bloody brilliant. I've used G and B for enclosing a toilet area and building shelves, and now fixing up all the doors. What a difference. Beyond happy with G and B!

I was concerned that that they wouldn't complete the job in the time allocated and I would incur additional cost. When I called the company they authorized the workers to finish the job (extra 30min) to my satisfaction. Now that's customer service.

My husband emptied the laundry nook, removed all necessary drywall, and removed the header of the laundry nook so the workers could get a head start... all that took him 2 hours. G and B sent two teenagers out to perform the initial work. They set up sheeting, then stood around, waiting for their supervisor for about an hour. They then only took out 1 wood post and tore a hole in the ceiling. They left our house after a total of 3 hours (only having done 1 hour of work each) saying that they needed more supplies to finish the work. Their supervisor sent us an invoice for the extra money they wanted for the rest of the work to be done. They said they did 10 HOURS OF WORK that day! Ridiculous! My husband did more in 2 hours for the renovation than the G and B "workers" did in the 10 hours they claimed they worked. To use up the rest of the hours that we paid for, G and B sent out 2 different personnel and they were much more professional. They installed the structural beam in the ceiling and knew what they were doing. They did a good job of installing the beam. Overall, our experience with G and B was mediocre. We will probably not use them again.

Repair was fair. Dried plaster in the floor was not removed.

Overall, the service was great. The staff was friendly and professional. It took a while for them to get the work scheduled because of a busy schedule. Work was then postponed due to being behind on schedule. However, they were upfront about the delays and let me know well in advance. The work they did was quality (no more leaks) and the price was decent. The only negative part of the experience regards payment. I was sleeping while they performed the work (since I work nights and the only available timeslot was in the morning), so when they finished, they simply left without asking for payment at the time, which was understandable. However, what wasn't understandable is that they were then unwilling to accept any form of payment except for a credit card over the phone (no invoice, e-check, check, etc.). While I didn't mind paying by credit card, I did find their 5% credit card fee to be exorbitant. Having run a small business before, I know that, at most, credit card processing fees run around 3%, so even if a fee was justified (which it was not, given that I had no other options for payment), 5% is way too high. This amounts to an unfair hidden fee. If I use this provider again, I'll be sure to specifically request that they not leave before accepting a no-fee payment and refuse any other hidden processing fees if they don't.

They arrived on time and went straight to work. I have used this company on several occasions and have never been disappointed. As Arturo would say...Happy Happy...😁

I know G&B for a while and have used them for several times from previous small/meddle jobs (flooring titling…) to recently a bigger job of rooms added. They always paid high attention with client interesting, they showed patient in listening and discussing in order to approach a better job process so that to benefit customer. The communication was professional and friendly. A quickly responding from office was always expected is impressive. Excellent work is remarked overall.

First person that came knew nothing about flood lights but Marilyn and Jean were very helpful at watching the clock and getting a 1st and 2nd person out to do floodlight change.Second person required to hold letter in the back because of height-so additional time was necessary. All workers worked hard-just a disconnect in the early morning.

The work went well and was fast. Very professional and and attention to detail!

Wasn't interested in repairing a small roof problem and was't interested in helping to try and realign the present gutters until I could afford the bigger gutters.

A little difficulty communicating. Think work could have been done with 2 people instead of 3. However, very satisfied with the end result of the work.

We did a project with them and it was pretty bad and disappointing. There was an issue with the price at the end. Working with them created a real hardship and the finished project was unsatisfactory. We had arguments and stress about the pricing and time frames.

I found Lamar and team on Angie' List couple of years ago and he has completed 3 major renovations for me. He meets with me to go over needs, offers suggestions and approaches to the work and delivers. The quality of the work is great, his office is responsive and updates on progress of work are ongoing.

The estimate we were given was $1,876 for this small job! We thought this meant they really didn't want to do the job. My husband being 75 and myself age 70, we really did not feel up to doing it ourselves. However, we waited for a cool day and did do it ourselves with rollers and brushes in 6 hours. Looks great and no mishaps. But in another 3-4 years, we will be looking again for someone to do this job. Hope Angie's can help us then.

I needed an ice-maker installed. They said they couldn't do it and it would take an appliance repair person and even recommended a good Angies List referral. This was professional.
