Description of Work: I had originally purchased a deal for door maintenance and repair for $99. They inspected a door that was leaking. The door ended up needing to be replaced, and they ordered a new door and installed it.

Description of Work: i wanted to have posts re-set on a 65' privacy fence. I knew i would have to pay more than the 99.00, but the estimate they gave me was out of line i thought.

Description of Work: Drywall repairs, install crown molding and wains coating. I have used G&B several times. Every time, the crew was on time, did excellent work, supervisor checked on the job and the crews did a great job cleaning up after themselves. Highly recommend.

Description of Work: We paid G&B Carpentry up front $3,000, for 80 hours of work that's $1499 times two and have not received all of the hours of work as of yet. We are presently going back and forward about the labor and actual times workers show up and work! We really should have registered these projects through Angie's list instead of dealing directly with the contractor. It really makes a difference.

Description of Work: Very professional. Their craftsmanship is on pointe and they will come back to make sure it is exactly the way you expected it to be. Brooke is wonderful to deal with. I will use them again on future projects.

Description of Work: Per Angie's List paid for services. G&B came to my house on 03/23/16 to review. Never heard from them again. 05/16/16 called G&B and scheduled work for 05/20/16. Failed to show or call!

Description of Work: G and B Carpentry replaced rotten soffit and facia boards on my two-story home. The owners were pleasant, professional and responsive. The carpenter who did the work did a very good job as far as I could tell from the ground and the rest of the crew were pleasant. The receptionist was excellent at communicating schedules and situations of which we needed to be aware. However, when it came to being charged I had to remind the owners that the crew were at my home for around an hour without a tall enough ladder to begin work. The painter they sent didn't speak English and he both didn't understand what was expected of him and was spending most of his time smoking and talking on his phone. At that point I decided to use my own painter. My painter found other rotten areas that had to be addressed, and although the owners of G and B Carpentry had told me to call if I needed anything else taken care of, I felt at that point it wasn't my responsibility to call them back. They should have done a complete job to begin with. I feel bad giving them less than an enthusiastic recommendation, but I cannot say I was completely satisfied.
