This experience has left me the impression that this package deal was really a bait and switch scam to gain door replacement business. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

They were punctual, set up nicely to keep area clean, and cleaned up before they left. Work appears professional, and they did a great job painting the ceilings. They added on a couple of extra items with little notice to them and, of course, charged for these. I would use them again.

This company is a breath of fresh air. After so many companies screwing you over, it was refreshing finding one that did what you asked for. I would definitely use them again!

They did a high quality job on all projects. They responded quickly with updates when I asked. The workers were very polite and worked hard. The project took longer to finish than they originally estimated. We were very happy with the finished product. Lamar and his crew were very helpful and it was a delight working with them.

The guys were great. They were wonderful to work with and communicated very well. Very kind and respectful of the property, always called ahead and said they were on their way. Larry and Israel are very good at their craft and were enjoyable to be around. I didn't have to stay and watch them and they were very trustworthy and honest. Highly recommended.

G&B Carpentry did an outstanding job on everything they did. I was so lucky to have found them. The finished product is beautiful, extremely well done and within budget. Lamar, the owner/foreman has a lot of integrity, knowledge and professionalism. He did everything he said he would do and did it when he said he would do it, and was very responsive throughout, even when I wanted to make last minute changes. The office manager, Brooke, is a joy to work with, very professional and friendly, and very responsive to my requests. It was a great experience to work with people of such high caliber. I kid you not, contact G&B Carpentry for your remodeling, upgrading, or repairs. You won't regret it!

Larry (of G & B Carpentry) did a great job! He came later than they expected due to being on a job later than they had anticipated (plus bad weather), but the project manager,Lamar Gribble, called me to let me know about the delay. When Larry was finished, I called Lamar Gribble per his request, to let him know that I was very satisfied with the job!

They were very professional, timely and did a great job explaining everything to me. For reasons that had nothing to do with their company I was unable to follow through with the project and deal.

Scheduled them to come out and give an estimate on my drywall. Estimate was extremely high. I called and told them that was unacceptable. Told them it wasn't as it was advertised. We wanted them to do the work. When trying to schedule on Thursday or Friday afternoons they were never available. Eventually they stopped taking our calls for about 2 weeks, at which time we called Angie's List.

It went great from day one. I called and spoke to Brooke and setup the initial meeting with Lamar. Lamar showed up right on time. I requested additional quotes for other potential future projects and I received the quotes very quickly. When his team of five showed up, they were also right on time. They covered floors with plastic, were very neat and clean, completed the flooring, cleaned up very well afterwards and we're done in about 5.5 hours. My attic flooring is excellent! I do look forward to working with Lamar and his team again very soon and highly recommend them.

.Had to wait several weeks for a quote and repair due to large response to Angie's list special. When repair person arrived there was a serious communication issue and person was not aware of what exactly they were to do, nor what services they were to provide. This necessitated a call to their business for clarification and eventually the original estimator arrived to inform the worker what was to be done. Upon completion of the work, the worker began cleaning up their tools without asking if their work was acceptable. After checking their work I requested that all four repairs in the living room be redone so that the repair blended better with the existing texture. This was then done. After the worker left I found spackling compound in several spots on the garage floor and a white substance on the hose and in the area where the worker cleaned his tools. I will not use this company again.

After some research I found that I was not in need of this service and have requested a refund from Angie's List. G&B Carpentry was very nice and professional.

The contractor did an amazing job in three days. They were very professional. They made sure communication was delivered to me on the steps of re-modeling my bathroom. My bathroom was in terrible shape. I had removed some of the wall paper; but due to health issues, was unable to finish the rest. Also, when part of the wallpaper was initially removed, my wall was in bad shape. G&B made sure that all prep work was done and was ready for painting. I will definitely use them in the future and recommend them.

Price was extremely high, so I declined & opted for only repairing two small drywall problems. I was told that EACH area would cost $89, so I asked for a refund. $14,500 for drywall repairs, minor wood work & painting? I think not. Today a worker from G&B came to make the originally requested drywall repairs. He was prompt, courteous & did a superb job fixing the two affected areas. I am now happy to give G&B Carpentry an EXCELLENT review for their services.

Lamar Gribble reviewed the work to be done and gave me an a very reasonable estimate of cost. A few days later two workmen arrived on time and went right to work hanging and spreading plastic in the areas to be plastered and sanded. They were very careful to contain dust and clean up both the first and second day. I'm pleased with the service and recommend them to others.

The quality of the work was very good, but the repaired areas are thicker than the rest of the ceiling's plaster. The difference is fairly obvious and the pattern isn't uniform in matching the existing pattern. The worker appeared to be more suited for "New Construction" work rather than repair work. The company wanted me to pay for more time to fix the poor looking repair.

Excellent. The crew showed up on time and the supervisor stopped by to insure the crew understood the scope of the work. Crew was diligent about protecting the furniture and floors as well as cleaning up after they finished. This is the third time I have had a company come to repair the drywall issues and G&B has by far been the BEST. I will definitely use them again.

G and B came out to do some warranty work from a roof replacement we had done, there was a leak around the fire place, so I inquired if they did kitchens, they came back out a couple of times for measurements, gave a quote which was too high for our budget, they worked on the budget on their end and we worked on our end, came to an agreement, work contract signed for all to be done within 90 days, job completed 2 weeks early, the project manager, Casey, literally has a "vision" and there were times I was uncertain, but the end result was absolutely amazing, work crew was always professional, productive, work product the best....we had already bought the stainless steel appliances and the copper Farmer's Apron sink and G and B worked around all of that, they also did real hardwood floods, took out a wall, put in granite countertop, my kitchen will be the envy of everyone!

They did a very nice job. They were very good. Their price was good. I would use G & B Carpentry for painting again.
