Bluegrass Glass and Mirror was punctual on their arrival. Measured my desk and was in and out quickly. A few days passed and they had my glass top ready a day ahead of schedule. They allowed me to pickup my glass which saved me a healthy amount in deliver charges. It is a perfect fit to my desk. I would recommend this company to my friends and family.

Description of Work: They did a very professional job and the windshield looked great. They started on time and were finished within an hour. The price was about $80 Dollars less than the so called discount internet glass companies. I recommend this company for automobile glass work.

I'm in the process of renovating my home. I needed some bids on a glass divider project. I found this company on Angie's list and contacted them to set an appointment for an estimate. I contacted the company and explained what I needed. The company made an appointment to come to my home and give me an estimate. I contacted the company one day prior to the appointment to confirm the time. I was then told they weren't coming to my home. I was told that they only come to my area on days when they have other appointments scheduled in the same area. I understand that reasoning, however, they scheduled the appointment, not me. I assume that had I not contacted them nobody would have contacted me. I would have waisted my morning waiting for someone to show up. When I asked if I could schedule another appointment, the person I was speaking with put me on hold to consult with someone else in the office. Upon his return, I was told that if I wanted an appointment it would be $150.00. No appointment fees were ever mentioned when the origional appointment was scheduled. Apparently, this company neither wants nor needs my business.

Hello. My name is Bill Badger and I am the owner of Bluegrass Glass and Mirror, LLC. Since we opened this company in 1996, we have worked hard to achieve 100% customer satisfaction. Unfortunately, [Member name removed] feels that we missed the mark. Anyone can make a mistake, but in this instance I feel that I must respond because of the extenuating circumstances surrounding his complaint. First of all [Member name removed] lives in Bellevue-West Nashville/Davidson Co. and we are in central Wilson County - that is approximately an hour away from our shop, + or - considering Nashville traffic. Our company policy is, and has always been, to serve the Wilson County and surrounding areas to the best of our abilities. We have never advertised in any way in Davidson Co. - not Yellow Pages, Radio or by any other means - because of obvious logistic and economic reasons: gas, time,etc. Not to say that we don't ever work in Nashville because we have many loyal contractors that work a larger area and we follow them when asked. They know our quality of work, and we know we have the job when they call. Spring is our busiest season. I was in the office and remember when [Member name removed] first called on 3/25/14. Our Manager, Chris, took the call and after speaking with him briefly about his project, he told him that we currently did not have any projects going on, or any installers in his area at this time. He also told him that we generally wait till we have other work in his area before we could come take a look at it. He told [Member name removed] that it could be 2 or 3 weeks, but if he wanted we could call him when we did. No appointment was made. I was also here on 3/27/14 when [Member name removed] called again, and this time our Office Manager, Maria, took the call. [Member name removed] said that he was calling to confirm an appointment that was made for Friday, 3/28/14. She asked Chris and me about it, and Chris told her that we hadn't made or set any appointment with [Member name removed]; however, another contractor's material had come in today and we could schedule him in for a measure when we go to install that job the following Thursday in Nashville. Maria told him that we didn't have an appointment scheduled with him for Friday. She went on to tell him that our next available time would be next Thursday. She put him on hold to discuss the situation with me. I said "we can't make a special dedicated trip to the other side of Nashville for a job that we may or may not get without some kind of compensation. If he can wait till next Thursday someone could come by and look at his project. If he wants us to come now, we would have to charge $150. It's at least 3 hours for the round trip and measure, so I felt this was fair. Or he can wait till next Thursday and have no trip charge." She returned to the call and explained, but he didn't like the special trip charge and asked if the trip charge applied for next Thursday. She said no. Before she could set the appointment with him he said he'd just call back Thursday and hung up . It's unfortunate that [Member name removed] felt compelled to submit this poor review. I honestly think he wrote an appointment down with another glass company for that Friday and thought it was us. We would be more than happy to look at his project if he can work with our ever changing schedule. Respectfully and Sincerely, Bill Badger-owner

Description of Work: My 1967 Mustang was leaking around the windshield when it rained or was in the brushless automated car wash. Bluegrass removed the molding, trim, weatherstrip, and windshield and I asked them to do the same for the back window because of the age of the car. Bluegrass reinstalled the original glass and trim with new molding and weatherstrip. The job took about 4 hours. I am very happy with the work. It is now about 9 months since the work and the car is leak free. I would use Bluegrass again as well as recommend them to everyone.

Bluegrass Glass and Mirror kept the window for about three days and it looks great! They're not open on Sundays.
Description of Work: My husband and I locked ourselves out of our house and were forced to break a window to get back in. We did not realize we had broken a double pane window that was pretty large. Bluegrass Glass and Mirror fixed the window perfectly and for a very fair price!
