Chris came out and did a couple of detailed research visits. His entire install team was great. They were always on time and courteous. He has sent Rob out for a couple of fine tuning circulation and parts changes. They have great after sale support.

The owner, Chris, and his son came to my home to size up the job. He sent an estimate by email and we agreed on a date. This estimate included 3 different ways to complete the insulation job. Chris called the day before the job and asked to delay coming out by one day though he could have arrived that day and work about half a day but we agreed that he could start the job the next morning and get the job done in one day. It turned out to be a good idea because they brought a large truck that contains the cellulose insulation blower and we did not have a lot of room for turning it around so one visit was preferable to us. The crew including the owner and son and maybe 3 others showed up on time and got to work. They discovered that the concrete block at the top had been capped already so they deducted for labor and materials that were not used for that task. They used air sealing foam or caulking around plumbing and electrical wiring in the floor and walls. They sealed around ducts that go through the side walls of the garage and applied caulk weather stripping along gaps around the garage doors. They stapled netting to the floor trusses and dense packed between the trusses using cellulose which has an r-35 rating. The job took around 9 hours. All crew members were polite and professional. All questions were answered to our satisfaction.They cleaned up after themselves and were careful about staying off the lawn while moving their truck and vans. We are very pleased with the outcome and were able to turn down our thermostat 4 degrees. We received an Angie's List discount and expect to get an energy tax credit.

The original call was placed back in September of 2013 in which the owner Responded promptly and came to the house and diagnosed the problem. He said he filled up the freon level and this would hold me till he ordered the replacement coil. I asked him what the cost would be and he stated a couple hundred dollars for labor and freon. He told me he would call as soon as the part came in.Starting in DecemberI noticed my power bill was a little more than normal bit thought nothing of it due to very cold weather. When the bill came the first of January it was double the previous year. I immediately called Aire Today because I realized the freon had all seeped out and had not heard from them in over 3 months. He stated the part was in and would come fix it that day. He did come fix it and left me the bill on my door as I was not home that day. Once arriving at home I looked over the bill and it was for $695.00! I waited a few weeks and received another bill from them for services rendered. At that point I called and spoke to his wife And explained to her because he had not followed through with calling me back when the part came in I had to powebills that exceeded $300 over my normal bills and would like the amount removed from the balance. She did not understand how this was their fault and refused to do so so I asked her to have him call me to discuss. I waited for 2 weeks and never got a call back. I paid the bill and explained that ones reputation is worth far more than a little money. I would not use again under any circumstances!

It wouldn't cost me anything this year because last year when they came to do my spring service, they were very late. I was scolding them and because they were late the air conditioning kind of got condensation on it. I didn't notice until that it was too late for the service and it damaged the ceiling so they said they would cover my spring as well as fall tune up for this year free of charge. There was a mistake that they kind of corrected. They were very thorough this time but obviously I didn't pay and they gave me Freon free and everything so they did a very good job. They also corrected some pipe issues that they felt needed to be right. I think they went above and beyond this time to make sure they didn't lose my business.

They arrived on time and started work right away. They did have many obstacles in the way in the garage, but were able to work around them, or they moved them as they went along and put them back. The job turned out not to take but a couple hours, and they cleaned up and were done. They also were able to work around my schedule to get the job done.

Tried to repair my a/c unit by adding more freon w/o looking for a leak. Came back two days later and the unit wasn't working so they decided to look for the leak then. The technician then hooked the leak detection dye tube to the high pressure side instead of the low pressure side, thus when he did it blew the red dye all over him and me! He took his test light to see if the unit was leaking and said it wasn't, recharged the unit with more freon and it lasted 4 days this time. I called them back and he said he would be out the next day. They never showed and never returned my calls. So I called another company, they came out, found the leak in 20 minutes, replaced the condensor coil and my a/c has blown ice cold since then.

They were the original installers of the systems. They were pleasant to deal with and they did a thorough job. They were able to come out quickly and they were prompt for the appointment. I was happy with their service.

The workers are always real nice when they arrive at my home. I have called them on the weekends during the winter time and they were able to give me advice over the phone. They are very responsive and can come out the day I call. They seem pretty professional.

I am used to companies that would clean filters or clean the coil and do a full service tune up. This company does not provide that to my memory. They were on time for the appointment and they were able to come out quickly after I had called.

The technician was friendly and came on time for the appointment. They were available for us on short notice. They were able to complete the job successfully. They gave me a book with pricing for different services.

They were prompt and provided me with a written quote. He was able to give me an estimate and talk with me about my AC units before the work started. They were able to get the job done in about a day with 3 technicians to help. Chris was great to work with. He also called to follow up with me once the work was done. When the workers showed up, they were not dressed professionally and I could not see the company name on their uniform.

Chris provided me with a date and time to visit the site and collect information for the estimate. He arrived promptly on the day and time that he scheduled the estimate. (This may seem trivial, but I've found that a large portion of the contractors/subcontractors that I've dealt with, can't stick to this initial agreement or even notify you that they can't keep their appointment). Chris inspected the existing rough HVAC system completely. This includes going into the attic and the crawl space. He took specs from the existing HVAC units and the square footage of our home. During the initial visit, he quickly pointed out that the existing HVAC system was missing three registers that would play a significant role in cooling certian areas of the house. Once he had gathered all of the information he needed about the existing HVAC system, he committed to have an estimate for me in a few days. During the time between his initial visit and providing the estimate, Chris made a second visit to the house to confirm specs on our unit. During his second visit, he was able to confirm that our unit was undersized and would not be able to efficiently cool our house based on the square footage. His asessment was accurate and later confirmed by a different HVAC vendor. Additionally...and at no charge, he left two air registers for me to install, so that I wouldn't have to postpone getting drywall installed. He submitted his estimate to me within the window promised. His estimate was professional and detailed. It included pricing options that would allow me to add or remove features to help stay within our budget. Ultimately, we had to go a different route with our HVAC system due to some unfortunate financial limitations. These financial limitations stemmed from a severly over budget residential construction project that was abandoned by the general contractor, and is in no way a reflection of uncompetitive pricing by Aire Today. I felt that Chris was 100% trustworthy and was a complete professional in his field. I would not hesitate to use Aire Today in the future, if presented with the oppurtunity.

They did a good job. It was an Angie's List coupon that we purchased. We would absolutely use them again.

Aire Today completed work in response to a TVA energy audit. Chris Melancon responded to my Angie's list request. He first asked for a copy of the TVA energy audit. I sent one via email. He brought that with him when reviewing my home and created a quote while at my home. The quote was very detailed and showed each line item of the work to be done. I reviewed the work/cost and he negotiated on a few items. He included a 10% discount for Angie's customer. Once I agreed to the work detail, Chris contacted me promptly to give me a timing of how long the work would take and when they would be able to start. Chris and another worker arrived within 30 minutes of when he said they would arrive. He actually called saying he was going to be a little late because some of the materials were in an open trailer and it was sprinkling rain. They worked at least 8 hours for three straight days to complete the work. They completed all the work noted above. Further, to receive a rebate from TVA, I have to have a re-inspection by TVA. Chris will plan to be here and review what he did. He took pictures of the work he did in areas that are now covered. Both Chris and his associate were very professional and took care of my home. Upon entering my home they put on and took off shoe covers each and every time. They kept the doors to the attic closed even though it was very hot one of the days to minimize the noise and any dust. They covered the carpet with carpet protection tape. Upon completion of the work, they cleaned up all their stuff, vacuumed the carpet.

The price they quoted was fair. We ended up using a different company. They were very thorough and very polite. I felt like they covered all the bases that we wanted them to. We got several quotes.

We were very pleased with the work they did and will recommend them to others if asked. If we decided not to tackle the attic insulation ourselves, we will be calling them to come back out.

I used them for a boiler tune up and in their review of attic insulation they determined that it was inadequate. Very prompt and efficient.

Aire Today arrived on time and finished the job in one day inspite of very high temps in the attic. They worked hard,fast and neat.the house was clean after the job was completed. They never asked for any money upfront I paid when the work was done. You could not ask for a nicer, more professional company. TVA had an issue with one of the sealants used but Chris from Aire today corrected the issue promptly and was present with the TVA inspector for the final inspection so there were no more delays with my energy right rebate In my opinion Aire Today exceeded my expections

Received 4 quotes from different companies. Aire Today ,Chris, was not the highest or lowest price but impressed me with his knowledge and professionalism. I felt that I would receive the best value for my money. Chris and his crew were always prompt very professional appearance and always left the work site neat and clean.I am very happy with their work and the performance of the system.I certainly feel that I chose the right company to install my HVAC.

We are happy with them. They service our two heating and air conditioning unit twice a year. They are dependable. They do a good job. They are knowledgeable. They know what they are doing. Chris is the owner, and he is very good. If we have an emergency, they are here very quickly.

They were excellent in every way including value, price and quality of work. The work was a result of a TVA energy evaluation, and the TVA inspector - who is a pretty hard judge - that came out after the work was extremely complimentary of the work that they did. They were dependable and did a fantastic job. They did everything they said they would do. There was no way anybody could have done a better job. The price of $2970 was unbelievable; I had an estimate from another company for $7000. They made the house much more energy efficient. I would recommend them to others. I would rate them highly and would definitely use them again in the future if necessary.
