Jeff is a professional. He and his help were very courteous. They were on time and worked diligently to get the job done. He always kept me in the game asking my opinion on various things. He wanted to know what I wanted to do and he worked to make me happy. Thanks Jeff.

This job went very well. I wanted a Pottery Barn look and Mr. Wellman came up with great ideas. Everything was done timely with great attention to detail. Mr. Wellman listened to my ideas and concerns and we have a bathroom that looks like we spent a lot more than we did.

The job went very well. We have received many compliments on our bathroom. Mr. Wellman was very professional and easy to work with. He also offered very good advice, along with listening to what I wanted. The quality was excellent and I would recommend and use again.

Jeff did an excellent job of installing our new shower. He was both professional and very punctual. He had great communication, always kept in touch and kept me up-to-date throughout the project. Even when we required changes throughout the design process Jeff was quick and responsive and was willing to go above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied .This was the first step in our master bath remodel, and we're looking forward to him returning to complete the rest of our master bath. I have no problem recommending Jeff for all of your remodeling needs.

We were very happy and pleased with how our kitchen remodel turned out. Jeff was a joy to work with: professional, easy to communicate with, courteous, truthful, upbeat and always had a positive attitude. I appreciated that Jeff and his assistant arrived on time and always cleaned up after themselves before they left for the day. If any questions or problems arose Jeff would consult us to see what we wanted and worked quickly to resolve any issue that arose. His creative ideas and critical eye helped us make material choices that functioned well while looking beautiful. I had dreaded a kitchen remodel, although our 1980's kitchen needed to be remodeled, because I had feared it would be a tedious and inconvenient intrusion on our busy schedules. Jeff worked with us so that I had a basically functional kitchen throughout the process and the entire remodel went much quicker and smoother than I could have hoped. We plan to remodel our Master bath and will use Jeff again for this project. I would recommend Jeff Wellman, he cares about his work and wants to make everything right, functionally and esthetically so that his customers are happy with their projects outcome.

I contracted with Jeff to replace our deck railing, and to repair a few related items, and I couldn't be any happier! He came over when he said he would, was on time, was professional, and did what he said he would do. Our deck looks fantastic! I have no hesitations whatsoever in recommending him to others. And I hear he does kitchens, too!

It went very well. My father had started the project but was unable to finish. Jeff made sure that the tile and the shower were installed properly! My mother is very pleased with the work he performed, and she loves her new shower!

I contacted Snapfix and Brad, my concierge put me in touch with Wellman Custom Remodeling. I cannot recommend this company highly enough! Jeff and Omar spent 4 days on this project. They were thorough, professional, and extremely personable to work with. More importantly, they did a wonderful job.

The deck was entirely replaced, built from the ground up, bigger than the previous one to accommodate a screened-in and covered portion. Mr. Wellman came as planned and gave an estimate (note: staining the deck was not included in the scope). For a price comparable to those from other quotes, the quality of the materials was by far superior. The final dimensions were changed a couple of times and he got back with updated proposals quickly. The start date was pushed back a couple of times due to issues with the city (they happened to not know their own codes!) and the work finally started as planned. The crew was very professional, the deck is beautiful. As the roof of the porch was being built, a minor leak occurred on a rainy Sunday morning right above a fireplace. By 2pm that Sunday afternoon, Mr. Wellman was up on the roof with one of his crew members with a tarp. He took care of the leak and minor interior paint damage that occurred. The city threw a couple more monkey wrenches in the works and they were all resolved, including issues with the final inspection that happened a couple of weeks after the work was completed. Mr. Wellman came that afternoon to meet with the inspector and had everything solved the same day. Mr. Wellman then agreed to wait until the deck was stained before finishing screening-in the porch. It is now done and I'm *very* pleased with the outcome.

THE BEST, bar none! We had to wait for Jeff to be available, but he was well worth the wait for sure! He suggested a source for purchasing the front door array we had in mind, which was only the door, sidelight, and a separate transom; and he then installed it to perfection. It required a considerable amount of build-out to create a proper surround for our front entrance, but Jeff selected the materials based on what we wanted, and, like the artist he is, he painstaking constructed a wonderfully impressive front entrance that we will enjoy for decades to come. He is a true perfectionist, carefully choosing each piece, and making sure every element was totally balanced and lined up for maximum visual appeal. We could not possibly be more pleased! Jeff is most professional, kind, dedicated to serving his clients, and extremely helpful. He's a real "find"! ( Now if we could only garner more of his time for some other projects!! Hint, hint, Jeff!!! :-) )

Jeff was fantastic, completed the job when he promised he would always on time and accurate with his estimate despite the change in material cost. He completed the job in three days which was faster then I thought possible and didnt sacrifice any quality. I would recommend him to anyone was a pleasure to deal with and plan to have him complete more home remodeling projects because its hard to find someone with this quality and easy to deal with in the Knoxville area.

It went really well. It was important to me that Jeff work on our project and only our project. He did. We didn't have to worry about him dashing out for a few hours, days, or weeks to work on something else. The were clean and VERY fast. The did everything they said they would do with a few extras too. We chose to do most of the demo work ourselves. Jeff and his team put down new wood flooring throughout our upstairs, rerouted many electrical boxes and some plumbing, installed new upper and lower cabinets, installed new appliances (sent back some damaged ones on our behalf, thanks!), creatively solved some plumbing issues, made sure the counter tops went in without a hitch, and put in a beautiful subway tile back splash. One of our favorite things that Jeff did was find some reclaimed barn wood to use as a buffet counter top. He prepared it and installed it. We love it! It all went very well and I would highly recommend Wellman Custom Remodeling without reservation.

Jeff is a great contractor. He listened and asked questions and worked with me to make sure I was happy. I'm very particular about details and he was very patient and flexible. He answered every single question (and I asked plenty!) He kept me up to date on what was happening and when things would be completed and smoothly handled any unexpected issues that came up. He was on site with his guys every day and walked through the room with me to make sure everything was satisfactory at the end of the job. They cleaned up every evening and did their best to minimize the disruption to our household. His work is solid and everyone who has been in the room has complimented the worksmanship. He charged us for labor and was right on estimate. His estimate on the materials cost and the timeline was correct as well. We've already talked to him about doing the other bathroom and kitchen in our house. I highly recommend him and his crew.

He's wonderful. He's just great. He thinks outside the box. I can't say enough nice things about him. He's worked for me before. He enclosed my back porch in the past. He's aces in my book. I just love him. He's got a great personality and is easy to work with. He's very creative. He does exceptional work. I'm going to have him back soon, to redo the flooring on my other two bathrooms.

Working with Wellman Custom Remodeling was a fantastic experience, right from day 1. Jeff responded to my call right away and visited my home twice to inspect the renovation area, as well as the cellar and attic where the plumbing and HVAC would need to be run. Got me a quote right away and was timely about revising it as we narrowed down the scope. Jeff kept me informed of the schedule, and the job was completed in a timely fashion. I was worried that the costs for this job were going to get out of hand, since the space to be renovated as sitting on slab and not connected to the existing cellar of my house. Jeff and his crew were able to devise a way to get the necessary services through the foundation and up through the slab at low cost. Whenever we hit snags in the job (e.g. found there was no insulation on an exterior wall) Jeff was quick to offer solutions to keep the costs low, and was able to perform several small fixes for no additional costs. I'm exceptionally happy with the new bathroom, and so satisfied with the smoothness of the job. Would absolutely use Wellman Custom Remodeling again.

Jeff was very punctual from the day that we had our first meeting. It was great to collaborate with him- hi listened, and heard all of my needs but also offered his professional and creative insight. During this process, I learned a lot! There were many things I had not thought of as a first time home buyer. I felt very comfortable with Wellman Custom remodeling working in my home. Our floors look great. I will definitely call them again. Solid work, good people.

One of my neighbors informed her husband he would be getting one for her. It looks great and when problems came up with the logistics of an existing wisteria he had the answers.

I had originally rated this company with a "D" because they never got back to me with pricing. I have since heard from the owner and was told I "fell through the cracks" and had been forgotten. Wow - that's honesty! As a fellow human being, I can't blame people for honest mistakes so I've agreed to meet with him again and start over. I will update the review once we determine to move forward with the project or not.

It went very well. They started as scheduled and the duration was as scheduled. The workmanship was excellent, they were very mindful to protect the adjacent areas of the house form the bathroom construction. I would recommend them to anyone.

During our first meeting with Jeff Wellman, we conveyed what we were looking for in a bath remodel. He offered comparisons in the different products that could be used in such a project, leaving (but never pushing) the decision to us. There's a lot of work involved with a bath remodel in a relative small, confining space, but once the date was set, Jeff and his associate arrived on time and got right to it. Both men were courteous and professional in every way. Throughout the project, we were kept well informed of it's progress. Toward the end of the project, we were waiting for the shipment of the glass panel wall, (which was ordered early on) and Mr. Wellman promptly kept me informed regarding it's arrival. For us, the end results are blissful. Our small, bedroom bath, with it's newly installed porcelain tile and glass wall gives the appearance of a much larger bath. I think where Mr. Wellman stands out with his business is that he possesses not only a can-do attitude; but mostly, he prides himself in his work and in meeting his customers needs. I appreciate that.

Jeff did a fantastic job, he was hands-on from the first day and he and his team's energy never let up. I had never gone through any type of extensive remodel before, but Jeff made it so easy. I would highly recommend Jeff Wellman and intend to use his services and expertise again.

Dealing with Wellman Custom Remodeling was by far the best experience I've ever had for any type of service, let alone a remodeling job. Jeff Wellman is the consummate professional: completely honest, extremely creative, punctual, and, best of all, communicates openly with fresh ideas, as well as overcoming obstacles that arise, with solutions that are, many times, an adjustment that will make the project even better than the original plan. During the time our project was being completed, my wife and I were living in another state, so we relied on Jeff Wellman for his input on many aspects of the remodel. Not too long into the process, we learned that his eye is so good that we found ourselves saying, "Whatever you think looks best," over and over. Jeff would send us pictures of items that needed choosing, such as the wood floor, tile, cabinets, color, finish, and many other decisions, and we would get on a call with him and look at the pros and cons of each item. We always felt that we could rely on Jeff to make the right choice. He spent as much time as was needed to make the hundreds of decisions regarding the complete reconstruction that we undertook. There was no situation about which Jeff wasn't thorough. He is a joy to work with. The results were beautiful, even better than we were hoping. This is due to Jeff's ability to enter a job and discover ways to make it much better. There were many things performed that were not on the original bid that improved the remodel. We have some more improvements in the future, and the only place we will call is Wellman Custom Remodeling.

Disappointing (Approx Cost 80000.00)

Things went very well. They were here when they said they would be. He had all supplies on site when they started. He consulted with us as appropriate and offered some good suggestions as the project progressed. Mr. Wellman was also very easy to talk with and listened to our ideas for the job. We have built several homes and remodeled several more and have alot of experience with contractors and this was a wonderful experience. Mr. Wellman was easy to work with, did a great job, cleaned up well and finished ahead of time. We would recommend him to family and friends.
