+ 0 moreI rented the truck for a day but only used it for about 6 hours. Would have preferred to have been given a full tank of gas instead of 1/4 but I didn't have to go far so it was enough.
Description of Work: They didn't have the size truck I wanted, so I the next size larger and it worked very well. Either the trucks fit less than advertised or I underestimated the amount of items I had. Do gas the vehicle yourself. Don't underestimate mileage. The Location is incorrect. It was 7209 Kingston Pike and not on Clinton Hwy

+ -1 moreVERY POORLY.... had to find another company's truck to move at the last minute which cost a fortune!
Description of Work: Uhaul cancelled on me at the last minute. I reserved a truck a week ago and late Friday night, July 27, 2012 I was told they didn't have a truck for me. I thought that's what a reservation was for?!!! Here is my reservation number 87427641. I want others to know how U-haul handles their business. There are better moving truck companies out there like Penske and Budget.

+ 0 moreThey provide two men to help us in Tennessee, and also in South Carolina. This was very helpful, and they were willing to help us pack, and unpack once we arrived. It was a nice service, and I would use them again.
Description of Work: They provided a truck so we could move from Tennessee to South Carolina.

+ 0 moreThe experience was very good except for road contruction and road closures due to natural disasters.
Description of Work: We chose a 10' moving van and a trailer to pull the vehicle. This was at the recommendation of the employees at the UHAUL site in Caryville, Tennessee. The vehicle was easy to drive even with pulling the auto trailer. That was much better than a tow dolly. The vehicle had no maintenance issues (other than someone stole our gas cap and we had to replace it at an Auto Part stores in Nebraska). We received good service on the drop-off end except for there was some confusion as to a new policy implemented with regard to when a truck and tow trailer are picked up separately. Ours were picked up separately and dropped off separately. That can be an issue unless you know their policies.All in all, a very good experience. I moved 2,144 miless across country with a Uhaul van and vehicle trailer with fuel expenses and all for around $3,000. I think that's a pretty good deal.
