**Avoid Danny at All Costs – A Nightmare Experience** Where do I even begin? We hired Danny to remodel our bathroom, and at first, everything seemed great. He came over, walked us through his plan, and gave us his Statement of Work (SOW). However, as someone with experience in industrial construction, I found his SOW to be vague and unclear. I asked him to come back over so we could clarify things, which he did. I even went the extra mile to write out a detailed SOW myself and print everything he needed to order. We gave him half of the project cost to get things rolling, and he ordered the necessary materials, including a vanity that was $900 over budget. I told him I’d cover the difference but didn’t specify when – I assumed it would be settled at the end, like every other construction project we've dealt with. The day arrives for him to start work, and out of the blue, Danny texts me asking for the $900 difference. I told him I needed to go to the bank, but this triggered a bizarre and unprofessional outburst from him. He accused me of not being honest and demanded the money immediately. When I tried to call him to clear things up, he ignored my call, then called back only to question my integrity before hanging up on me. From that point on, he refused to communicate by phone and only texted me. It spiraled into outright madness. Danny quit the job, saying he wouldn’t work with me. His texts escalated into psychotic behavior – he called me a "stupid b****," threatened me and my family, and said he wasn’t afraid to take this to court. All because I simply asked him to drop off our deposit with my husband rather than leaving a $7,000 check in the mailbox. Somehow, this was "bullying" in his mind. Danny is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. He presents himself as a good Christian man, but his behavior is far from professional or moral. I've attached all our text exchanges for anyone to see. He is not to be trusted, and I cannot stress enough how much of a nightmare this has been. Avoid him at all costs.

My overall experience with Danny and the home repair group was fantastic. Danny explained all the details during our first meeting and answered all questions. The job was done in two days for both roof and gutters. My cat appreciated the quick work. Danny sent videos of the progress and noticed some rot that needed to be fixed. Always transparent, Danny is someone you can trust. Prices were competitive with other bids and he exceeded my expectations.

The home repair group was great to work with! They replaced rotten siding and repainted my craftsman home. Over the course of the project, we found hidden rot and some structural issues. Danny was always very knowledgeable about the best course of action to take to ensure lasting results. Due to the hidden nature of this additional work scope, the cost of the overall project was much higher than the original estimate, but their pricing was fair. One special note: Danny took frequent videos of his work progress and any issues that he ran into. I found these hugely helpful and appreciated this extra effort!

Very good work. Came promptly. Completed work well. Was creative in finding a solution. Also told me my siding was not attached right. I didn’t know that. I’m glad he told me and fixed it.

The owner of Home Repair Group, Danny Pierce, and his crew did a wonderful job. He added specifics I asked for to the contact, which was signed using DocuSign. Very convenient. Danny kept me appraised of progress at least daily, sometimes more often. He resolved any issues to my satisfaction. He went above and beyond to keep his customers happy. I think I got good value for my money. He was prompt & never missed an appointment. The room with the water damage now looks better than new.

It went great. Danny and his crew showed up when he said they would, worked till the job was done, and cleaned up before they left. I don't know what could have been better. Great job at a fair price, and Danny is great to work with; there are always small changes on most jobs, and when those showed up, Danny adjusted the plan and explained it all to me so I was on board with the change. I highly recommend Home Repair Group to other customers.

He came out and gave us a quote-decent quote. He was nice. He then sent us the formal quote, but when hubby emailed back to ask a simple question, if they would let us pay monthly, they up and voided the quote without answering our question until my hubby wrote back, then had to call bc his email got no response, asking them to resend the quote bc we had the cash saved up, but we were just hoping to pay monthly, as to not use our savings for vacation, but not a big deal bc we can just put that money bk before time to leave. But still a question is just that-a question. They just up and voided the quote bc of a question but still said they would be happy to do it and to let them know. When I emailed them to resend the quote, that we would still use them, and I explained we had the cash (Vacay money saved up),that I was just confused as to their voiding the first quote over a question, they said we are declining the job even tho we HAVE THE CASH to pay them. Seems to me, a small family biz, would want as many happy customers as possible to get more word of mouth... but that’s ok, we will find someone else. Be cautious of the ones that are nice to ur face, then will say they will happily do the job, but then decline job over a question. (And I was prepared to show the cash before they did the job, just in case they thought we didn’t have it... we aren’t liars). But hey, their loss... update: Day 3 “Since this company wasn’t happy with my review, they are now saying we are harassing them and said I tried to guilt them by mentioning I would hv to use my vacay money I had saved up, to pay them, but there was no guilt anywhere in ANY of the emails (which I can prove). I said no biggie I’ll just put it bk there instead of paying u monthly. I didn’t think asking a simple question, to pay monthly would hurt... well, they then emailed me NINE times in a row after seeing my review, calling me names yesterday morning, telling me I perjured myself (when I hv all the correspondence I sent. As well as, All of their emails). And if they don’t stop calling and harassing us, I will post ALL SAID EMAILS AND ALL OF THEIRS TO US...They said I harassed them (when all I sent was 3 emails up to that point, before the review -all very nice emails-i might add, even offering an olive branch, so to speak, since they seemed to take offense, or misunderstanding, if u will, to my nice emails, to which they replied they didn’t care about my olive branch) I was professional in all of my emails... them? Not so much. They also denied hanging up on my husband after they called him at 6:20 am yesterday morning, while he was at work, and said, “We are so glad we didn’t do ur job!” then hung up on him!! And then had the nerve to call him again TWICE this morning, around 530 am, again while he was at work, for which my hubby did not answer to hear more crap from them!! The phone call yesterday was just a few seconds long yet they wrote in one email that my husband told them ‘that’s fine and to hv a nice day.’ I mean, why lie?! This is all Very petty, immature, and unprofessional. My husband didn’t get a word in. And I had to write them after those hateful, unprofessional NINE emails and say please stop emailing and harassing me!!! It’s over per ur refusal to do the job so leave me alone!!! And yes, All of this over a simple question, YES A SIMPLE QUESTION ABOUT FINANCING, a simple no would hv sufficed, but they just assumed we didn’t hv the money to pay, which we did...and now all of this has unfolded It’s a shame it had to go this way honestly. And WE ARE JUST AS GLAD THEY DIDNT TAKE OUR JOB!! We aren’t mad they didn’t take our job, we are upset w how we were and still are being treated!!! They were gonna charge us 475 for 1 hour worth of work!! We found someone nicer and more professional to do it for 325. Angie’s list is letting me put my review bc I hv all the emails to prove everything I am saying, no harassment on our end, and I’ll post every single email, if I have to, including ALL of theirs to me, if this continues... we are not ‘crazy or crazy ppl’ like they called us, we are JUST BEING HONEST w our experience w this company.”

Danny and his team helped us replace a portion of gutters which has been leaking and spilling water at multiple places when it was raining. Their work is of high quality and done in a timely manner. We like the results very much. In addition, Danny made the planning and communication easy by working with us closely to know the very details of our needs and being responsive in returning phone calls and messages.

Very well. Not only does the finished deck look very good, Danny and his crew worked through brutally cold weather to assure that it was finished promptly. This is the second time I've hired this company to do work at my house, and both times I found them to be hard working and very responsive. I was impressed by their willingness to work on days when the weather made that very difficult. Danny does a good job of explaining what needs to be done and why, and he listened to what I wanted and gave me a deck that exceeded my expectations in terms of the appearance and quality of the work. I will definitely us them again when I need home repairs/improvements in the future. In addition to the deck, they did some preventative maintenance on the roof of my sunroom, added insulation to my attic, and helped me with minor issues involving a shower head and my dishwasher. I was pleased with all that work as well.

Danny and his crew were great! They were always there when they said they would be, did all the work they were suppose to, and left the yard as clean as they found it. I would highly recommend them and hope to use them for another project next year.

Never finished the job contracted for. Almost doubled the quote, before leaving site for over months and not completing. Late not on time for appointments. Had to hire someone else. Would NOT recommend. Not professional in my opinion.

They responded promptly and arrived when they said they would. Other than that, they were terrible. Did not use spray foam around new door frame, new inside door trim did not match, replaced siding over existing OSB and foam board only to have it wavy and then quoted an additional $500 for two pieces of OSB and labor. When asked why so much we were told that we had to pay for the siding they put up to be taken down. We said we would pay for the OSB board needed and the labor required to remove the foam board and replace it but would not pay for them to take down the siding when they should have known the siding would be wavy when the wall was half OSB and half foam board. Contractor got angry and told my husband he was locking our door and leaving. We got home to wavy siding, unfinished door, and the materials still lying in the yard. He texted later to say that he would be happy to finish the job, but only if we paid him up front and in cash! The deposit we gave him was too much for the work he actually completed correctly!!

I had a signed contract with Danny Pierce and he claimed to miss-measure and changed the price. When I questioned him about the details of the new pricing he hung up on me and refused to discuss Blocked my phone calls Very unprofessional

It went so much better than expected. Danny and his crew are extremely knowledgeable and courteous. Their professionalism was top notch, far better than other companies/people I have hired in the past. My bathroom looks amazing!
