The Garden Walk Horticultural is a creative landscape design and installation business. Even if your budget is limited, you can have a visually stimulating, yet low maintenance landscape. With proper plant selection, artistic layout, a structural element, or two, and the knowledge of how to maintain your investment, you can enjoy your landscape instead of dreading going out to 'work' on it. If you are a do-it-yourself go-getter, you have the option of just being 'coached' while installing your own landscape. Design services are offered to get you going on a plan that will make the neighbors green with envy. But not as green as your side of the fence, with knowledge of how to care for and fertilize plantings offered by Horticulturist David Montgomery during a consultation.

Landscape design: partial re-do's or complete property. Patios, walks, and walls in natural stone, and/or brick and/or block, with custom touches. Waterfeatures for visual pizzaz, and/or ponds which reflect nature and blend in naturally. Horticulturally correct pruning, and lessons on how to maintain your shrubs without making them look bad...ever. Landscape Coaching for guidance along your landscaping journey, so you can do it yourself while getting professional results. A very affordable deal.

Irrigation is a business unto its self; best left to a specialist. Masonry work is another specialty out of our realm.

We never got to work with him. I really liked the examples of his work that I had seen. He has a lot of great ideas and knowledge. I hate to give an "F" but that is really the only grade I can based on our actual experience. Despite my experience, I think he would do a good job if he took on a project.
Description of Work: We had three appointments with David to look over the site where I wanted a stone wall built. He never showed up and he failed to call and say he wasn't coming. I wish he had just said our job was too small or he just wasn't interested. We were disappointed because we had hoped to get him to help us with other projects as well as the one we wanted to start with.

I have to admit that I let this one slip through the cracks. As I remember, I couldn't locate their contact information because the email or voicemail got deleted, and with a deadline for the Parade of Homes looming over me, I was distracted to the point of forgetting to get with them, altogether.
