We have been customers for over 2 years. They do an excellent job and are worth the cost.

When The Cleaning Authority first came out to give me a quote, they were very professional ,so I hired them right away. He said he would have his office manager contact me to set up my first cleaning. Two weeks went by. I finally called them. The cleaning was good. The problems I had was no one would answer the phone when I would need to schedule or cancel. Many times it would go to their headquarters and I was told they would pass along the message. Never would get a call back. They would leave me a message of when they would come out and then not show up. Twice I waited for the crew to show up and they never did. Then the process would start over with me calling, leaving messages and never getting a response. After months of this, I finally fired them.

The ladies who cleaned my home were amazing. Thorough and fast! I am not a neat person so they had their work ahead of them. I am thrilled with their work. One of the best things I've done for myself and my family!

The quality of their work is outstanding. Between the two initial cleanings, every corner of our house and everything in-between and received a detailed cleaning. On the first visit, attention was given to the bathrooms - they literally sparkled when they got finished. After the 2nd visit, there was not a speck of dust or dirt anywhere in the house; even spots that are not normally visible.

The initial meeting with Peter, the owner, was pleasant and informative. Many service providers "look good on paper" but then that is not reality. After just the initial cleaning, our reaction was: WOW!! This was our first cleaning by The Cleaning Authority and we could not have been more pleased. Marta and Doris were meticulous in every detail of the cleaning. For example, I don't think our bathrooms have been this clean since they were new, it literally sparkled. Every area was given a great level of attention and detail. Thanks for a job well done! With service like this we will be long-term clients.

The master bath looked great, but it ended there. The floors in the rest of the house had small piles of debris left, the sinks were filthy (one drain still had some food stuck to it!), the tile floors looked as if they had not been mopped, no garbage was taken out, and if any dusting of the furniture happened I sure couldn't tell. My cell phone was on the kitchen counter so they picked it up and then moved it to a window sill. It was pure luck my sister saw it. I was ready to go buy another one. My sister was visiting from out of town and was appalled by the horrible cleaning job. I called the Cleaning Authority and they said they would send the crew out to do it again, but I didn't have time to let them disrupt another day. Besides, this was the second time I complained. That's two times too many. Time to try another service...

They come in every two weeks. I think they use my house for training. They bring in a lot of trainees. My house is easy to keep clean and they do a very good job. I don't have any complaints. They are good with any special requests, they will do it. They are usually here within 30 minutes each time. I am not going to change and they are reasonable.

This is my first experience with a cleaning service, so I was nervous. An interview with the owner convinced me that the services are well thought-out, I was given sufficient information about the cleaning materials to calm my anxiety about toxics in my home, which is very important to me. The cleaning teams arrive promptly, work diligently, and leave me a record of the exact services performed at each visit (e.g., wipe down kitchen cabinet doors on a detail cleaning visit). I had researched prices online and felt that the fee was consistent with my research. I have cleaning only every other week as there are no children or pets. Everything has been performed exactly as it was described to me. And the cleaning teams are friendly :)

They were supposed to follow specific instructions related to keeping doors within the apartment open and closed to keep cats in or out. Those instructions were clear from the very first time I spoke with the owner to schedule the cleaning. Over the 6 months that I used them, I had to communicate with them multiple times regarding scheduling. I seldom had the same team and I had to explain the requirements regarding interior doors each time even though they were supposed to be on the work order from the beginning. I expressed my concern regarding this and other things, like putting very expensive glass in places where the cat can knock it down instead of just replacing it where it was, and problems with communication from the office, i.e. they did not communicate with me regarding when they were not coming. I had to call each time and ask. Additionally, I had a long conversation with the office manager where I thought, once again, my simple instructions were made quite clear. If the interior doors are open, leave them open, if they are closed leave them closed, and please clean the windowsill in the back bedroom. For six months those instructions have not been followed. I don't know if the instructions are not being communicated, are not being understood by the multiple cleaning crews that I have experienced, or if the crews just don't care. In all cases it is the problem of the management of the business. There was a problem with the cleaning yesterday and the office manager said she would come by and work with me once again to straighten it out. This morning I received an e-mail from them at the time of the appointment saying I should find another service. I was willing to, once again, try to work with the, but apparently face to face contact is not possible.

They were good, thorough, and they are on time and dependable. They do a good job. I have them come out once a month.

The two gals clean my house bi-weekly and do a wonderful job. It's great coming home to a spotless house. The owner is very professional and presentable when he comes out to give you a quote. They leave a paper every time they cleaned to let you know what extras they cleaned each go around and what extras they will clean next time. They come the same day and time every other week.

This company is amazing. From the owner to the office staff to the front line workers… top notch. They arrive on time, the perform at a high level with high quality products. My home is sparkling and their system to keep it that way makes my life so much better. I have already recommended them to many of my friends. They are truly all professionals and consider this money well spent!!

We are currently on a semi-weekly house cleaning with the Cleaning Authority of Knoxville for approximately 1 year now. The 2 girls that regularly clean are home are top notch. We were using a single person prior to the Cleaning Authority and there is no comparison. The single person was a little cheaper, bit was far less through and effective. Highly recommend this company to anyone that is considering an in home cleaning service.

I've been very pleased with their service 98% of the time. They are always here unless it's a holiday. I've never had a problem with them not being here when they're supposed to be here. The girls that clean for them are generally Hispanic ladies and some of them don't speak English, but even with that kind of difficulty with communications, they are right. They know what they are doing and they do it beautifully. Their people are bonded and they are very careful. They use green material and they don't use a lot of chemicals in your house. One day they broke a figurine while they were dusting. I wasn't at home, but they had left the figurine and left a note saying it broke while we were cleaning, we're very sorry. Then the owner called me and apologized for the incident and we really appreciated their concern.

The ladies have cleaned our home for a little over a month now, and have done a consistently good job. When I am here to talk to them, they are courteous and professional. I am using them on an ongoing basis, and am very happy to have the good help!

They have been very good at follow up and making amends for work not done to our satisfaction.

We found them through Angie's List. They use "green" products - we have 4 cats and we don't want our cleaners to use toxic chemicals. The man who runs the franchise was so professional and nice. They do a lot of followup, which we appreciate. Alltogether, we feel like we made the right decision. They also do a rotating deep clean, which we love. They always contact us and let us know when they'll be coming, and they're very punctual as well.

It's a bi-weekly service and it costs $122. The service is excellent! They provide customized cleaning and they're very prompt. I've just been very pleased. I don't feel like I have to be here when they're here. So I trust them!

They come every two weeks. My house is about three thousand square feet. When Peter came out, he kind of looked at everything and gave an estimate. I don't exactly know what their pricing would be for other size homes but for our home that's what his pricing was. He was very professional. Normally I have between two or three ladies coming and a lot of times it's the same one. They are friendly and quick. They don't doodle around. They are very efficient and they do a good job.

I have used The Cleaning Authority since May 2009 and have always been very pleased with their service. The estimate was very professionally done. We have two dogs and two cats so we have weekly service. The women (usually the same two) always do a very nice job. In nearly four years I can't recall anything being broken. My wood floors always look nice, as do my stainless steel kitchen appliances. The office staff is very accommodating and reminds me every week that they are coming and the approximate time they will arrive. If I need to cancel, add extra rooms, or change the day it is usually not a problem. Their prices are slightly more than an individual would charge, but about the same as other agencies I interviewed. What I like best is the consistency of work and the rotation cleaning system they use. I plan to continue using this service for a long time, and I highly recommend them.

They are fabulous. The girls are just incredibly efficient. I have no complaints whatsoever.
