Terry Brown Plumbing

Terry told us the work would be completed in 2-3 days. He would show up in mid to late afternoon and work well into the night, interrupting our family life (we have a toddler). He did not want to repair the holes in the wall he created when renovating so he recommended a friend. At this point in the renovation which was two weeks later, he had not finished grouting or installing the backsplash around our tub. He advised us that when his friend came the next week to fix the drywall, he would return and finish the job. Terry was also supposed to acquire the Delta faucets for our job (the shower head and roman tub). Terry told me he had already ordered the parts through his supply house and the faucets cost $600.00. I stupidly gave him the $600.00. We did not see Terry for a couple of months and everytime I called him he gave some story about how the parts were on backorder. I checked this through the site he said that he ended up ordering and the customer service agent assured me that the faucets were NOT on backorder. Then Terry showed up and installed the wrong shower head. This project was started in March and I still do not have the correct shower head, any roman tub faucet, and no grout on my tub surround and no backsplash as of August 20, 2012. We have repeatedly called and texted Terry asking for the work to be completed or to return our money which he has stolen and he has promised several times he will show up and pay us back or that he has the parts and wants to finish the job. We have even threatened legal action, which is probably the route we will end up taking.
