Description of Work: I requested a quote, they returned my e-mail and stated that they would come by to give me an estiamate on the weekend of 4/11. I gave the gentleman my phone number and he stated that he would call me following weekend of 4/11. It is 4/24 and I have received zero response. I am beginning to feel that this site is a gimmick. I have requested quotes from multiple painters in the Knoxville area. I live in a very nice neighborhood with nice homes. This site is a waste. Zero responses from anyone.

Description of Work: They pressure washed the outside of my house and repainted the trim. Some window screens were damaged during the pressure washing, but Summit replaced them at no charge. Otherwise, the work done was fine.

Description of Work: They did the following work: |Put a 36" opening in a wall and trimmed it to match the two now connected rooms. |They painted the walls and trim in both rooms. |They painted a number of exterior doors that they prepped,caulked and painted and in one case patched some wood. |3 people came onsite to do most of the work in one day, a single person returned to put a second coat of paint on the walls and trim the following day. A good estimate was made before they started work. I added a couple additional items and the final price was in keeping with their estimate and the additions I made.

Description of Work: Contacted them and they offered a quote which was very reasonable. They were quick in their response. We would have used them but ended up having time to complete the task ourseleves.

Description of Work: I met with Summit and escorted them around the property and described the job which was painting and locating and correcting a water leak. The person from Summit was professional and polite. Within a couple of days, Summit provided an estimate by email but the estimate did not include an estimated cost to investigate the leak. I clearly understood during the site walk that they cannot price the leak without knowing the extent of the issue but I clearly communicated my expectation for them to price the investigation. I responded to the email quote telling Summit I wanted them to proceed but needed an estimate for the leak investigation and wanted that to be done soon. After several days with no response, I text Summit asking them to check their email. Summit responded by apologizing for not responding telling me they were very busy. They indicated by text that they would have their plumber out in the near term (but did not mention a quote to investigate). I replied with a text asked them to call me to discuss as I had family coming in town and did not want a mess in the house (plus I still did not have a estimate for the plumbing investigation). I waited approximately one week and after I did not get a call from Summit, I secured a bid from another firm and awarded them the work. I cannot speak to the quality of Summit as they never executed any work. I can only testify to their responsiveness or lack of. If communication is a issue when a firm is trying to win a job, what will it be once awarded?

Description of Work: Will and his crew did a wonderful job taking over the wallpaper removal and painting of our foyer, dining room and one bedroom! My husband made a (quickly abandoned) effort to begin wallpaper removal in our dining room until we realized that there were two older layers beneath and it was going to take much more effort and time than he had available. The upstairs bedrm had an oil-based paint over old wallpaper as well. This task was much more difficult and the Summit team took the time to carefully peel the disaster. Other contractors that quoted the job wanted to just cover the walls but we really wanted everything stripped and painted from scratch. The Summit team was very clean, worked over the course of 4 days and also was so considerate to our having a baby under one in the house. I didnt expect them to, but when our little one went down for naps they were even more quiet. :) i will definitely keep calling them for any future painting jobs!!
