Standifer Plumbing

I called Mr. Standifer on a Sunday morning after discovering a water leak in my  horse barn, and he arrived within an hour.  Within one more hour, he had found the source of the sneaky leak, inside a wall in my tack room, TWO walls away from the discovered water.  A temporary patch was applied after  options were discussed.  As this leak was only 1 inch above where the copper pipes emerged from the concrete floor, and the condition of the leaking pipe was feared to be indicative of the condition of the concrete-encased pipes, I opted for a complete repiping job to bypass the buried 24 year-old pipes that surely would leak (expensively) at some point.   He returned at my convenience a week later and spent 9 hours making sure the job got done properly--draining the water heater, installing the new PEX pipes along the wall face, insulating the pipes, checking and rechecking the connections, having me inspect and test everything, giving instructions,  and cleaning up. He even checked the water heater's elements at no added  charge.  
     Based on past experience with plumbers, I can assure you that I paid far less than half what plumbers X and Y would have charged... and got better quality work as well.   Mr. Standifer doesn't inflate charges based on the appearace of a home; he charges solely on the WORK.  And there are plenty who have the designation of "Master Plumber", but Mr. Standifer is the first I've had who actually PROVED his qualifications. 
   By the way, if you're wondering how Mr. Standifer got to my house near Knoxville from Asheville in only an hour,...he has relocated to  the Knoxville area.
