I called Southern Stairlifts on a Saturday and Dick called me back that day. We set up an appointment for him to come and give us an estimate. He came when he said he would. We agreed on everything and the installation date. Dick came on the installation date as promised and did a very good job of the installation. Could not be more pleased with him and the stair lift. I would highly recommend Dick and Southern Stairlifts!

The experience was fantastic! The service rep and the quality of the experience was great. He showed us how everything worked and took his time explaining everything. He was very professional.

Installation was surprisingly quick, and Dick was very patient with my questions and gave a great demo. Dick was wonderful to work with. He was professional, courteous, and very knowledgeable about the products the company offered. He didn't pressure me to make a decision at all. He was neat and efficient when he removed the old system and installed the new one. He vacuumed the stairway and removed all packing materials and installation debris. I could not be happier with the experience. Dick also called a few weeks later to make sure everything was functioning properly and to see if I had any questions. I would not hesitate to work with Southern Stairlifts again.

I had a setback with my MS and was confined to a mobility scooter. I live in a two story house and had lived in the living room for over a year, when we thought about getting a stairlift. We contacted Southern Stairlift and he came out an gave us an estimate and showed us the different options. On installation date, he was on time and very professional. He showed me how to use and explained all the working parts. He made sure I rode it up and down the steps to make sure I was comfortable with it. If I ever have a need for this again, I will be using him again and I will refer him if I hear someone talking about needing a stairlift. This stairlift was my savour, I could finally get upstairs

We had an outstanding experience with Southern Stairlift. We quickly needed a stairlift after my father was released from a physical therapy rehab after breaking his hip. Although we only had about 8 stairs going up to his bedroom, when you can't walk, even one stair is insurmountable. Dick Shriver returned my initial phone call promptly, answered all of my questions, immediately sent literature on the stairlift, and followed up again with another phone call. After doing further research, we decided that the Acorn stairlift would be the best choice for us. Dick installed the stairlift for us in about a week after we ordered it. He cut the rail to a custom length for us, and installed the lift in a short time. He was neat, polite, and ran the lift up and down to ensure there were no problems with it. He instructed all of us in how to use the lift, focusing particularly on my father. He also covered some basic problem solving in case the lift didn't work right (which never happened). After my father died and we no longer needed the lift, Dick uninstalled it for us. Again, he was polite, professional and very neat. He stored the lift in boxes in case we ever need it again or want to sell it. Dick was extremely kind and patient when he taught my father how to use the lift. As my father was an engineer, Dick was able to answer all engineering type questions about the lift, too. I unreservedly recommend Southern Stairlift. Every experience we had with them was positive.
