This did not go well from the start. When I made the appointment by telephone on for 8-1-13. I was told the job would take 3 and one-half hours by the Store Manager, Chris Myers. However, shortly after I arrived at The Sound Factory for my 1:00 pm appointment, I was informed by The Sound Factory Owner, Steve Hoskins, that my vehicle would only take 2-hours. It is an hour drive to The Sound Factory from my home and I was going to leave my Town Car based on the earlier stated time frame on the telephone for the work as I had my wife follow me in her vehicle to the shop to pick me up and then take me home. But upon hearing only a 2-hour wait, we opted to have our planned lunch and stay in the area. The fact of the matter is, my Remote Start/Keyless Entry System took 4 and one-half hours to install and still was not working properly by their close of business at 6pm. The Install Manager, Ray, performed the install work. I went back to this business a total of 4-times over this system install with the final visit on 9-3-13 to have the system "uninstalled" and my payment refunded. I have a total of 8-hours of drive time in this, plus 8 and one-half hours of The Sound Factory's customer lounge area. BTW, the free WI-FI they boast does not work either. In addition, on one visit the technician (Kelly) who worked on my car put boot marks all over the interior of the car on the passenger side. I wrote the Store Owner, Steve Hoskins, a letter on this with photos who in turn sent me an apology letter with a fifty dollar check. You never knew what was going to happen when you started the car with the remote start. I have had the doors remote unlock not work, the trunk has opened when the car remotely started, the locks have unlocked when the car was started, the door locks have unlocked and re-locked when the care was remotely started, once I attempted to open remotely open the trunk after remote starting the car and then the car engine shut down when I attempted to remote unlock the trunk. It was so unreliable as to what was going to happen, the system could not be trusted and then, neither could the employees of The Sound Factory. On the final day when I was having the uninstall performed, I saw Mr. Hoskins in the store, offered my hand and introduced myself, Mr. Hoskins stated, I know who you are, you sent a letter, I sent a check. Mr. Hoskins then turned without shaking my hand, entered his office and shut the door. Very Rude indeed!
