I had a plumbing problem the Sunday before Christmas (Tuesday). I didn't call Scott's emergency number because I was able to get by for a day or two. I didn't expect a call back on Sunday, nor on Monday because it's Christmas eve. But Scott came by the office for something, heard my message, gave me a call-back, and said he could take care of my problem if I was in a bind. As it turns out I was able to get help elsewhere first, but I appreciated him calling back and offering to help on X-mas eve.

I called on a Monday to schedule an appointment for Tuesday. They were able to fit me in but couldn't give me a window of time when they would be there. On Tuesday the plumber called when he was about 30 minutes away. Once he arrived he started work quickly. We agreed that the clog was in the kitchen drain, not further down in the main. He said my pipes were too small to use the spinning blade to clear the clog. Since my existing pipes were poorly installed, he suggested just replacing a long stretch of pipe where we thought the clog might be. I agreed. He had to go get parts to do that which accounted for about 45 minutes on the clock. Once he returned he did the replacement very quickly, but it didn't solve the clog. His second guess of where the clog was was a short run of galvanized pipe that remained in the wall. I had not known the old galvanized pipe was there until he pointed it out to me. I had thought all my drain pipes were PVC. If he was aware of the galvanized bit, it seems like that would have been his first guess of where the clog was since old galvanized is known for clogging. He suggested new pipes and vent under the sink that would bypass the galvanized. I agreed. He needed more parts for this but was able to get a colleague to bring them over while he disassembled the existing stuff. At this point his pace seemed to slow down quite a bit. though. He finished putting in all the new parts and installed a new garbage disposal I had already purchased. The work looked professional and water drained well. He was polite as well. But I thought it took a bit longer than it should have and the bill was for one quarter hour longer than I thought he was there.

I called for service today and got a prompt response and resolution to my problem. I was very satisfied.

The associate came over and fixed the toilet, the tub spout, and terminated the sink outlet on the fist day. The tub drain was more work than could be completed in the first day, but a plan was made for what work needed to be done. The associate came back on the next available day and completed the work. Even though two visits were required, only one service charge was billed since all my needs were requested on the first visit. I am very satisfied with the quality and value of the service and plan to continue using this provider for my plumbing needs.

On a Friday afternoon, lost all water inside home. Called local utility board and they came to investigate, found broken pipe with water gushing outside house exterior. Phone call to Scott's Plumbing, who responded in a timely manner. 2 men arrived, who were cherrful and professional. Got right to work, and stayed with the job until completion. Had to call back for a minor alteration to inside pipe, so drywall could be replaced due to water damage. They were prompt in returning and fixed the issue right away. Great company and very interested in doing the job right! Applied Angie's List coupon without hesitation.

Scott's service plumber, whose name is Ben, called 30 minutes before my scheduled 8 AM appt. to let me know he was about to head to my home and to ask in detail the specific problem I was needing fixed. He also asked the brand of my faucet. He arrived promptly and examined the sink, then took out the faulty parts in the sink handles and replaced them with new part. He was done quickly and I was able to use the coupon from Angie's website. Ben told me the work was guaranteed for one year from date of service. I can use my sink again and am very pleased with the work and professionalism.

Great guys, willing to explain and offer tips and advice as well as patiently endure our questions. I now have a plumber to call and recommend.

had old toilet that was not clearing the bowl was told that replacement was best option tried a few home-remedies and they were ineffective contacted Scott's and had them order & install new toilet they had to come back and make a minor adjustment to the new toilet tank very pleased w/prompt & courteous service will call them again

I bought three toilets and called Scott's plumbing to ask if they could install them. They were able to schedule me the very next day! Anthony and Phillip were nice, respectful and installed 3 toilets in less than an hour!! This morning I discovered I have a stopped up kitchen sink. I called Scott's thinking I might have to wait a day or 2 for someone to come out and fix it. They are coming this afternoon! One small inconvenience is that they can never tell you their exact arrival time because every job is different and they may need to spend more time on a job (problems that may arise, a part they need to get etc.) before moving on to the next job however their work and professionalism outweighs this inconvenience. They have a new customer in me!!

I called them Saturday morning when water started to back up into the drains. They came out within 2 hours of my call and performed a temporary repair so the drains would work over the weekend. They returned at the scheduled time the following week and repaired a problem with the sewer line and unclogged the main drain. I have not had any further problems with the drains. They were extremely professional, arrived on time, and explained all of the necessary repairs. I was very pleased with their service and will use them for any additional plumbing needs.

We have called on Scott's 2 or 3 times a year since we moved in in January 2006. Work is always done quickly and cleaned up totally. Repairman describes the problem found, makes recommendations, and then sets about his job. Very satisfied with work.

I needed the downstairs shower because it had a handheld spray nozzle and allowed for a shower chair. I am having surgery in a week and need the shower downstairs. Unfortunately, the fixture was frozen and I wasn't able to turn on the water. Called Scott's on Thursday morning and they were able to come in the afternoon. Jennifer, the plumber, was able to replace the valve and fixture so that it worked smoothly. She also fixed a problem a previous plumber had caused (NOT Scott's). She was able to do this in an hour, and because she suspected high water pressure as the cause of the valve freezing up, she checked that, too, and found that it was high. This surely averted another problem down the line. Jennifer was courteous and friendly, and worked efficiently.

I called the Company, made appointment, and the job was done on the right appointment day.

Took two visits...one to assess the problem....second visit to fix it AFTER we found out how much homeowners would help to fix the kitchen we had to tear up to fix the problem.

I found Scott's Plumbing on Angie's List and have been pleased with every employee who has visited my residence and done work here. They replaced a solid waste pump in my crawl space, handled all of the plumbing in a totally renovated bathroom, and replaced two toilets. This has all been in the space of a year and all has been done very well. My bathroom contractor was extremely impressed with their work. I would recommend them to anyone who needs a true professional plumber. Interestingly, I just received the invoice from the work they did in July (it's September). They are reputable and trust their customers to be the same. I really appreciate that.

We woke up Labor Day morning to our hot water tank raining all over our garage. After getting the water to the tank shut off to stop the rain, I went to Angie's List to find a plumber. I found Scott's and I am sure glad I did. We were able to get in touch with them quickly and they had someone at the house within an hour. The gentleman who came to our house was very polite, professional, and quick. He explained what the problem was and how he was going to fix it and then proceeded to do just that. Problem solved. While I really hope I don't have any more plumbing emergencies (especially on holiday weekends) I will call Scott's again if I do, or if I decide we need some actual scheduled plumbing work done.

My mom stayed at my house the day the Scott's technician came so that I could go to work. The technician was very pleasant (which I appreciated), but seemed to be rather slow. He left the house more than once to get parts and was gone for a long time both times. He was still there when I got in from work and stayed until around 7 pm. He said that his boss had told him just to fix things back the way they were originally, but he wanted to do things right and make sure that I wouldn't have any more problems. When he left, I naturally assumed that everything had been done correctly. I did not receive a bill from the technician that day, although in the past I had always paid the bill upon completion of the work. I waited for a bill to come... and waited. I had no idea what the cost would be for the repairs. And since I was getting ready to do a complete remodel of the bathroom, it was worrisome to have a bill for an unknown amount hanging over my head. After two weeks, I contacted Scott's plumbing and asked about the bill. I was told by a very pleasant lady that the bill would arrive at some point and that they had a new system that was slowing things down. I waited another three weeks and called again, only to be told the same thing. Finally the bill arrived six weeks after the work had been done. Costs seemed reasonable for the materials (pvc pipe and fittings). As for labor... well we all know that plumbers charge a ton by the hour. What concerned me was being charged for 3 hours labor for the technician to "chase down the right parts." That's $180 to pick up pvc pipe and fittings! I wasn't happy, but... what can you do? Then when my contractor began work on the bathroom remodel the next week, I found out that everything the Scott's technician had done was going to have to be ripped out and done over again. My contractor (also a family friend) said it was a MESS. He said the toilet was held up by the flange and the piping was laid wrong and the toilet was leveled by coins (that's right.. quarters, nickels, dimes). When I told him what I'd been charged for what he termed a MESS, he didn't believe me. He thought I'd gotten the figures wrong ... until I showed him the invoice I'd received. He was shocked and said he hated to see me taken advantage of like that. Since that day, a different plumber has come in to give estimates on other work to be done and for making the fix to what had been done by the Scott's technician. He also thought the work was very bad. I am really sorry that Scott's has gone downhill like this. I'd used them a couple of times in the past and had always been very satisfied.

I was most inpressed with Jennifer. She worked for an hour and a half getting my toilets in good shape. Fixing toilets is a messy job, but Jennifer left the bathroom in pristine condition and took the trash with her. Also, she removed her comfortable bootsat the door so as not to bring mud into the hour and proceeded to work in her socks! All in all, I was very pleased with the work that was done by Scott's Plumbing. I might add that I was very pleased to see a woman do such a professional job in a field generally performed by men.

My wife called me after Bob from Scotts plumbing left and told me he is the only plumber she will have in our home. As requested Bob called to let us know he was coming and performed the work quickly. His professionalism was top notch and he even wrote a note on the bill to remind me to take care of a hornets nest near the front door because he didnt want our kids to get stung. A great experience and Scotts will be our only choice for plumbing problems.

My hot water would not shut off completely in the tub, and having to go to work, I called Scotts and they said Saturday would be the earliest they could come out to the house.Later in the afternoon, I received a call and they were coming out, having finished their work earlier than expected. I had two probelms fixed, Bob was so competent, friendly, and professional. I was honestly surprised and very happy with their work, and willingness to fix my problems quicker than originally scheduled. I would highly recommend this business.

This is the second time we have needed this company's service in the past two months. Both were unrelated issues. Ben, the technician, responded to both and was very professional and explained in detail the options and potential impacts of addressing our needs. He was very careful to protect the surroundings. We were very satisfied with his work and will contact this company agian if the need arises.il

We were able to contact him even though it was after hours. He is a good plumber. He comes when he says he is going to come, does what he says he is going to do and tells us if there is something it is not expected and what it is going to cost. He is a good contractor, and we would recommend him.

In fact, I think I got them from Angie’s List. I think I paid about a $100.

We needed several jobs done at a rental we own. Bob was prompt and was wonderful to work with. He was very cordial, quick, very professional and clearly knew his trade. We would definitely use him again.

Showed up on time. Inspected light. Fixed it in about 2 minutes. WOW!
